The sinking of the Titanic on April 14, 1912, has continued to move and fascinate for generations. Artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster creates a site-specific staged audience experience in the museum's rotunda, inspired by this historic event and wherein the audience plays a role. Gavin Bryars's The Sinking of the Titanic will be at the core of the installation, performed by The Wordless Music Orchestra.
