Hi Erin! I love Chapala, it’s so beautiful. My husband and I visited there last year. We live in CA and this month we visited Durango, Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí. That house is beautiful.

I saw stuff I’ve never seen in my life and will probably never see on account of I’m afraid to go to Mexico, but dayammm, it was beautiful! Loved LOVED!! The scenery…the houses, the church, the ponies…the burgers…what fun!

I love Chapala I have been there a few times, my family lived there for a year, my boys went to school there that year, my boy's dad has several properties there, so it was fun watching your video. I also lived in Atotonilco El Alto for several years, back in the 80s.

My husband and I were just there in May it was hot. We also stayed the night. Luckily our hotel had A/C. From there we took the bus to Ajjic for only $2.50.

Love the ouside inside patio room. There making them more in orange county California in new homes. They call them "California rooms" you should make on in your new home 🏡

My brother’s house on his rancho has those curved brick ceilings. Also, I like the way Christiano wiped his feet before entering the house. It shows respect for other people’s homes.

I really enjoyed going back to Lake Chapala with you all. When I was there, I spent time in the church near the park and loved it as well as little shops and breeze off the lake... it wasn't too hot when I was there, but very colorful as your video shows. I would love to find out where the House is that you stayed at, I think it would be fun to bring family members to a place like that! THANK YOU for everything you share!! :)

Chapala is so beautiful . The Architecture! The House you stayed at is so pretty. A fun trip . I’ve only been to Mexico twice well maybe 2 1/2 times. Watching your RUclips makes me want to visit , but visit Ranchos and Cities so I’m traveling to Mexico vicariously through your RUclips. I’m from California .
Go to atotonilco el bajo jalisco for the gorditas de cacaguate,pitayas,siruelas ,guamuchiles.. and for the fiestas December 08 and December 12. Best fiestas in el municipio de villa corona..

Beautiful Chapala , I went years ago , I love how inspite of changes they still have conserved the architecture intact , how nice that Lalo had friends visiting , your littles are so cute & Abby like always is no filters , teenagers lol , loved the house tour , Mexico has so much to offer , thank you for sharing ❤😇🏡

I have a question, how do you sign up American citizen children up for school in Mexico? I’m seriously thinking of moving to Mexico. Life in California is so hard for my mental health. I have two girls and a baby on the way and it feels impossible for me to stay here.

My question Is where are the cartel and the criminal gangs? Everyone makes it sound like the cartel has control of every region in Mexico. Or are they mainly on the drug routes toward the US? I would love to go to Mexico City to the ultra Chic parts but avoid the outskirts and the smaller pueblos. Sad. Because it's a beautiful country with beautiful people.

We ❤ it there, but I came back to Care for my parents 😞 n they've passed on 😢now 13&14 years ago but my children have their families now n I 🚫 be without my grandchildren 😅so we bought our 🏠 here 😉💭❣️ Thanks for taking us along with y'all Hun, the air BNB was Beautiful, perfect sized, ❤ the outdoor eating area, n pool too 🤩😁❣️... I 🚫 wait to 👀 your New 🏡 on el Rancho, you're living your dreams out Sweet Lady n im so happy for you n Lalo ❤❣️ Im with you, I would have just stayed at the air BNB another night but the lake n crafter's n things were fun too 🤩❣️... I ❤ pickled jalapenos on my burgers 🤤🍔 😋, I make a jalapeno pie with a dozen eggs, jalapeno, sausage, n lots of cheese 🧀 n bake it 45-50 minutes, brown n drain the sausage first n mix eggs , cheese, jalapenos then put in 9X13 or a deep pan 🥘, so yummy 🤤😋 n my children all ❤ it n would ask for it 😅❣️.... Bunches of 💞❤️💞 to ya friends, 🚫 forget the 🐎 Lalo 😅😂❣️

I'm from the north of Mexico from Torreon Coahuila it's a beautiful city but there's a lot of beautiful ranchos arround. 🎉❤
My family is from Guadalajara Jalisco, i went to chapala 11 yrs ago and its so beautiful you missed walking to the end of the bridge thats the main reason why people go there to see the Cristo in 2010 i went and the lake was dry no water so when i went back it was full of water.

Thank you for making these videos!!!! My husband is from Mexico and I'm from the US and we have been married for 20 years now. He came here illegally in 2000, got deported in 2015 and he came back again. He wants us to move to Mexico( we have 3 kids, 20, 16, and 1) but I am scared of the cartels. He says in his rancho they take money from everyone.
I can only say from my own experience. I don't have any problems in our rancho, but I also do not get involved with anything I shouldn't. I was afraid as well about a lot of things, but God worked all of that out. What you can do is ask your family that live in the rancho. Or even better go visit for a week or two. You would be surprised. Most ranchos in Mexico are like mine.
