- Toy Store Robbery was made in 1986. My brother Donnie had recently purchased a VHS camera and we fell in love with making movies. Cousins Bobby and John Paul were visiting and this usually meant we were going to roll film. It is hard to understand now how exciting it was to see yourself on TV. It is common place today to take so many videos but in 1986 we longed for the opportunity to capture ourselves on tape.
When making this video I tried to teleport myself back in time to 12 year old Aaron. I wanted to give this video a real 1980's vibe with 80's style font and bright colors. One of my favorite songs then and now is Take Me On by the band A-ha. I tried to pay homage to this 80's music video at the end. For those who are not familiar with this music video I highly recommend watching it.

This movie ends very abruptly because we didn't finish it back in 1986. My cousins and I spent hours playing the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) so I had to add Mario at the end. I hope everyone enjoys watching this. It was truly a labor of love and took me many days to finish. All that said, I enjoyed every minute of it. I know I'm biased but I truly feel blessed to grow up in the 80's.
God Bless,
Aaron
