Hi! I just found your channel today while its 2 in the morning haha and its making me more excited for my upcoming training! I just received my official employment letter from WJ and I'll be taking this video with me when I go into training! My mom is also a WJ FA! What was your first flight like? And what would you say the most challenging part when you started flying after graduation? Love your videos~
He he 😄 thank you for watching and dropping your kind comments. First of all, big congratulations 🥳 🎉👏🎊🙌🏽🍾 for joining Westjet and this must be so exciting that your mum is a FA with us and now you are joining us wow 🤩 may be one day my lil gal will follow my footsteps too💙💙💙 my first flight was Vancouver to Cancun and oh my words it was a very very hectic flight. In 6 hours I didn’t sit at once also because I was new I was probably overworking 😅😅crew treated me very well … very caring very helpful and was very kind to me….. I also made a vlog about it too in my channel. I met many kind crew in my initial years who were very nice and helpful and very few I felt were either bully or self-centred. Nevertheless, it was these beautiful kind crew that I met when I was new, fresh & vulnerable that encouraged me to pass their kindness to the new crew either via these vlogs or whenever I am working with them inflight. Hope to fly with you too 🔜 my best of wishes and best of luck for ur initials 💐💐💐💐 You can check my First flight experience vlog with westjet. ruclips.net/video/GsitVCBFyCk/видео.htmlsi=YEu7U1i95fnNNpjw
Hi! Thanks for all the videos and they’re very helpful as I’m gonna be on training next month! WestJet asked me to apply for US crew visa and I was wondering if you would know anyone who had to do this as well? Thanks so much!
Hey Chloe Thank you 💙🙏and a Big Congratulations 🥳 🎉🎊👏🍾 for your training welcome to WS. I have met may be 1 or 2 crew who are PR in Canada and they needed to have US crew visa. I am sure there will be many more in our company with the same case. I think You can apply directly with US crew visa online and you can show your offer letter. I am sure it will be pretty easy and simple knowing that westjet has a good presence in US too . Best of luck for the training and best wishes for your new journey with WS💐
They will allow 2 reattempts for all the written exams. I am guessing there are total 5-6 written exams and they give 2 reattempts in total for all. One reattempt exam for one exam another one for another exam. There is no written rule about this though because they said it depends on other factors too. However, this is the pattern I observed in our class for the students who had to give reattempts
@@sharmisthadassingh so the written exams we don’t need to check our spelling by our mind without computer AI check. And the truly written test. Test our writing skills. It’s not multi choice questions. Is that right?
Thank you thank you so much! It’s very very helpful. Because I knew some people they fail at the very end. Now, I know why.. Again, your study guide very very helpful 👍👍👍
Hi, i have a few other questions.. 1. I was wondering if you had to pay for all the groceries? 2. Also, did you get tested on material from eLearning too? Thanks so much!!!
Yes food is your responsibility i paid for it ….you do get tested online for ur elearning but even if u dnt pass you can do it again and again as it’s just online
Hi Mimi yes there will be lots of homework and e learning before you go for your training and while your training. If you don’t have aviation experience everything in the e learning handout will be too much to process at once. If you feel overwhelmed, don’t be. Because everything important in your e learning handout they are going to teach and explain you in the class. So whatever topic seems lil difficult to comprehend just don’t worry your instructors are going to teach and explain you in the class. And if they dint even mention or read it even once in the class most probably that isn’t so important from the exam point of view.
Hiii there I have a question in regards to joining an airline in Canada … I have a prior experience in India and moved here as a student and currently on the work permit… I have been selected for an airline recently but they are asking for c1/d which I don’t have it…. I will be glad if yu Can help me with the process …how the process works here … Thanks in advance
Hi Gayathri I am not sure about work permit how things work…. But C1/D is I guess required for Crew to travel to US. I am a Canadian citizen so I didn’t have to apply for C1/D visa as for Canadian it’s not required. But I would suggest you go to US visa website and fill out all the forms required along with a letter from your employer…. Letter from employer will help you to get the visa faster. This I am saying because I know there are few cabin crew flying for our airlines who are permanent residents of canada and not citizens and they submit the letter from our company to us visa for expedited crew Us visa. Talk to your employer if they can provide you a letter to expedite the crew us visa timeline
They say it’s 2 … 2 retakes are allowed but after one fail attempt usually people learn from their mistakes and pass any other following exams with flying colours… in our class there were couple of them who failed in atleast one of the exam but they later on did amazing and then there was only 1 who gave two retakes subsequently had to bid us goodbye forever
@@solenedrillet9083 we had i think 3 people in total leaving us out of 25 may be i am not 100 per cent sure everyone had their own different reason to leave but only one person who was genuinely working hard towards the goal but just couldn’t cope up with the pace of our study as you would be bombarded with tons of information to process each single day ….so after 2 retakes we had to bid him goodbye… that was the only unfortunate case from our class … we all felt bad for him as he really wanted and was trying

Hey hi 👋 thanks for dropping by ….all QCM multiple choice questions
