Today I have taken the brave decision to take cuttings from the cordyline suckers! I've been a little scared to cut into the plant, but I have taken the steps today and I've given you some tips I follow when doing any cuttings in the garden.

🤞🤞hopefully it all works Jake, 🤔 I wonder if you out one in water if it would get roots. Propagating is great fun I love the idea of being flower self sufficient. Wow cucumbers 😮😮 and ripe tomatoes 🍅. Harvests are really coming along fast and lush. Have a great week Jake, Ali 🌞🥵🥵🇨🇦

Oh I didn't think of that actually! Everyone I watched online was just chopping them off! I did notice a couple more suckers, so I might try that with them too.
Oh could you imagine. I'm just very good at arranging them, I'm a simple one flower type in a vase. Think daffoldis, tulips or sunflowers.
The tomatoes and cucumbers have surprised me this year! All carboot bought as well.
Ah yes, wasn't that something to do with the Dutch and someone called Someone Orange? Some royalty perhaps?

Love the excerpt from the book. I definitely find that when I’m concentrating on gardening I forget all the stresses of life. Lovely carrots, I’ve grown some rainbow carrots myself but they’ve all come out purple so far 😁

I've only had a couple of diddly purple ones! Very envious of that. It's the whole reason I grew them 😂 maybe another time ay! 🌱🌱
