    My daughter had to watch a sports docu and comment on it so I chose this to watch together. Found it really interesting from the mind prospective rather than the obvious physical one. Also liked the idea of when you're struggling to keep going tell your mind you're doing it for someone else, which works in other aspects of life too. Really enjoyable.

    Thank you for a very great documentary. I listen to Every word. This documentary is a big part of my success in endurance sports. I listened to this many times a day for months during I trained for my first Ironman triathlon 70.3 distance. And I did it. I became a triathlete. What next? Well, I will race my first full Ironman triathlon in summer 2021 in Sweden. This documentary will be like my special mantra for success in Ironman triathlon and other endurance sports. Thank you!

    Awesome film, best inspirational video on Triathlon.
    What I learnt through this:
    Your mind decides weather you'll win today or else.
    Train your mind to keep pushing while also building physical strength that doesn't harper your body. Mind is the key

      It came to as a surprise, but you train your mind WHILST training your body. Because body and mind(soul) are connected. That mind training is a extra freebie for your hard (body) training:)

    Today os 1st Jan 2021. First day of preparation for my first half ironman which is on 19th of sept.this video is an amazing reminder that i need to take care of my mind,my thoughts and i am reminded that physical is an element.This is off topic but ayrton senna said really good "in a moment from physical i got into psychological state and then into the spiritual.At that moment i was doing things my conscious body had no saying in it"

    After over 40 triathlons, starting at age 51, previously starting running seriously at age 37, I have to say triathlon at most all distances almost always favors who is fastest on the bike. I have clobbered people in the swim, held my own on the bike portion, and completely annihilated masses of people on the run ( not kidding) only to come up a little short on placing in many instances, like one place out to someone who pretty much "walked" a 10-12 minute mile to my 7 and also swam slower. Bottom line in my opinion--the swim is what it is, whatever the distance, but lengthen the run or shorten the disproportionate bike distance. EQUAL the playing field distances between all 3 disciplines and you'll see a different set of people on the podium. Whoever smokes the bike section and pretty much walks the "run" entirely shouldn't garner all the glory for what is a TRI sport. It's not balanced.

    Most of the so called "triathlete" were fat, obese and later they realised that they have to do something about their body so they start running and swimming etc and after doing one Iron man they filled with arrogance and look at other people with pity 😶 or other category of people who have some fear, or few are behind "glory "
    Or something to do different
    Ao I read some blogs and face book post of most of so called ironman ( not the avengers 🤣) " finishers" they always say I want to conquer my fears, feeling of achievements at finishing line etc etc. So this means they were in imbalanced situation of mind, body
    1or 2 runners were drug addict they started triathlon and did good job
    I felt like is Iron Man events are like healing institution or what ?
    To make your body and mind fit but ironman founder is becoming rich day by day due to this addiction

    No, the body is flesh and bones and wears down with age and extreme anaerobic training will age the body even faster over time resulting in injuries , illness and hips , knee's being replaced and hearts damaged . Girlfriend has 25 yrs as a cardio othro rehab RN. So my body is my boss . Not my mind . These athletes are in there 30's lets see 30 yrs from now where are they ?

    • @prashantdhotre
      @prashantdhotre 5 лет назад

      in oldage homes run by charity as they would have spend the money on Ironman company to make founders rich, so no money left, they usually ditch friends ( non athlete) and family for this shit so no friend left and body balance is damaged so obviously free home ran by Government " Old Age Home"
