hehehe... ABATE Club member here. And, Kelly's more of a 'Renegade E-Biker'... The red one would be cool in our Christmas parade. For an 'ebike' it's damned cool!
I just purchased one and it is a lot of fun to drive. In Florida, since it does not have pedals it can not be classified as an e-bike or moped. It actually falls in the motor scooter category which requires it to be registered, tagged, and carry insurance. To register the bike you will need a certificate of origin which their customer service will provide you. You will need to send them the serial number on the frame and the serial number on the motor.
I just ordered one can’t wait to get it. most “reviewers” half the video talking about what “ we gonna talk about…” it is incredibly annoying, thank you for being short, clear and to the point.
Kelly, nice looking electric moped. I have the Radrunner Plus, which is considered a class 2 ebike - maximum throttle of 20 mph, but with 5 levels of pedal assist and 7 gears, ive gotten as fast as 30mph. Handles hills fantastically with a 20-45 mile range based on how much throttle, range, weight of rider, etc. ive added accessories such as rear view mirrors, turn signals, gopro adapters and dji air 2 controller holder. Class 2 Ebikes, in Texas can ride on any road or trail where bikes are allowed, unless specifically outlawed by local ordinance. However, currently, Texas State Parks do not allow Ebikes on their trails, but most cities and counties do. Thanks for your review.u
Great review guy. Been eyeballing this little badass E-chopper for awhile now and should just go ahead and do it. Watched many a video of course and yours was right up there as being one of the better presentations. A couple of things come to mind. I've been a motorcyclist for over 50 years now and even owned a "real" chopper at one long time ago. The longer wheel base, increased rake and trail always makes for a huge turn radius and generally larger, slow turns. I've seen better riders than me do some remarkable things on such bikes. It was almost inspiring. That fat rear tire has a somewhat square shoulder because that's where most will people ride. Countersteering on a motorcycle becomes second nature after a bit and at speed it's how you steer effectively. I couldn't tell if you were doing it or not. If not, then it might make that bike even more fun. If you knew most of this, or someone else below commented already, I apologize for taking up your time. Thanks again.
@@readysetdrone Thanks for the reply. Hope I didn't come off being too preachy. I might wait for the 3000w model to come out. I might never leave my development for all I know, but it is very conducive for this kind of activity. I'll have to share the road with golf carts! Thanks again.
You nailed the review! I've had my M1p for a couple of weeks. Weeeee! A ton of torque at level 3! I discovered their is a secret code to unlock the power module. Yeeehaw😎
I love mine and the compliments are every day I have no complaints. I do believe you could stack these batteries and increase your range. There’s plenty of room in the center of the bike not that I’m going to, but I have emailed the company to find out if that’s feasible
It "should" go faster if you unlock it. From power off state hold right brake leaver then turn on key for 8 or 9 sec then turn off key......then turn it back on normally and it should be unlocked. It doesn't turn sharp mostly due to those wide tires. Legally speaking it's an electric motorcycle, due to no working pedals and goes to fast. Here in Canada 500 watts or less plus pedals and top speed limited to 32kmph means its an Ebike(bicycle) If it doesnt have all those things then its either an electric moped or electric motorbike. Both must be registered and insured and both are allowed to go as fast as cars. I believe in most states it goes by classses.......1,2,3 when it comes to ebikes.....class 3 is an ebike, 2 and 1 are mopeds or electric motorbikes.
Thank you, very good and comprehensive review. I need something for cruising around within a mile or two of my house and I'm really starting to like this bike.
Great review Kelly, since this is a 2000 watt motor do you know how many Amps the controller is? I also think it would have to be registered as a scooter. For my own personal use I'd like to know if it can be unlocked so it would be capable of doing 42 - 45 mph. I live on a rural route where the speed limit is 40 & don't want to get run over on my 6 mile ride into town. Let me know if you can, thank you. Glenn , NH

Hello I just watch you demonstrate the new eco chopper bike , I like it and I thinking of buying one , please can you tell me if they are available in UK england and the price they cost in UK pounds , thankyou from mark .
Those ranges they specify are when driving in the lowest setting (max speed about 30Km/h), on a dry road with no wind and with a driver that weighs 75Kg.
WITH STOCK SETUP I GOT 22 MILES ON A 60V 20AH BATTERY BEFORE IT SHUT DOWN AND I WEIGH 270 LBS, I THEN UNPLUGED THE BATTERY AND WAITED 1 MIN THEN RE CONNECTED THE BATTERY AND WENT FOR OVER 2 MILES AT 10MPH LIKE A RESERVE LIMP MODE.
eBike laws vary, but in MOST areas, this would considered a moped, and not an ebike. Most areas use the class system for ebikes, and to make it brief, that limits the motor to 750 watts, and speed to 20mph with a throttle, and 28mph with pedal assist. This bike is unique in that it has all the features it needs to actually register it as a moped and make it "legal", as opposed to most overpowered ebikes that sit in that between area and simply can't be made street legal, but the flip side is that this thing doesn't look like a bike, so you are more likely to get stopped by a cop on it than say an eahora juliet that looks like a bike (but is not technically legal because it has a throttle and does more than 20mph). (Note: you would also need a motorcycle license to legally ride this in most places). It also would typically not be legal to ride this on bike trails or lanes. (a lot of places you can't even ride a class 3 ebike on trails legally, not that anyone really pays attention to that, but again, this doesn't pretend to be a bicycle, so it is more likely to get stopped).
Be aware, the wattage of the motor will require the operator to have motorcycle license, and must have registration with a license plate if you plan to ride it on public roads..

I want to buy this but not sure about the laws in Florida, may do you know something about it? If need licence, plates and registration, please help me
Yes you have to plate it but you do not need a motorcycle license. Any body that can find a vin number let us know without it you can't get a plate!!!!! GOOD LUCK have fun riding in your yard.
Yeah you're gonna find it difficult to ride on certain states who's speed limits won't allow to ride on. CA for example only let's you go as fast as 16mph on a scooter without pedals so possibly it could get registered as a scooter with a license plate. Also theft there is so bad that spending that much for it is not worth it.
I have an electric scooter with three speeds that goes up to 36MPH and I live in California a Zero 10, but I’m a girly girl so I only pushed it to 25MPH on second gear.
In California thats classified as a electric moped. You can ride on 25mph streets as long as you have a drivers license for bike or car. But if your only going 15mph in the bike lane you don’t need a license at all.
Someone need to come up with a plastic/ chrome Harley looking fake motor to fit inside the open space . With a modulated sound generator hooked up to the throttle control.
if you twist the throttle all the way while holding the same break turn on the bike count to either 8-9 sec let go of the throttle and break at the same time then turn off the bike for a few sec then turn it back on (if you did everything right) you just unlocked it and it should go faster about 44-46mph being its new top speed if i remember
THAT'S VIDEO YOU ARE REFERRING TO ONLY WORKS ON SCOOTERS I BELIEVE NOT POSITIVE BUT I AM OVER 90% SURE IT WAS FOR SOME TYPE OF SCOOTER AND HE MENTIONED NOT MOPED OR MOTORCYCLE STYLE....
Almost positive that it would be classified as a motorcycle. As it has a 2000 watt motor and no pedals. No trails and a motorcycle endorsement with insurance. Maybe wrong?

I'd suggest calling your local DMV office and asking them about this specific model. You probably need some kind of licence in Florida.
Yes you have to plate it but you do not need a motorcycle license. Any body that can find a vin number let us know without it you can't get a plate!!!!! GOOD LUCK have fun riding in your yard.
Looking good on that thing!
Awwww shucks Tater!
What is the kW of the motor, please ?
They should really do something about that name.
Ha ha ha 😂 yeah
Great review Kelly!
Thanks, Rodney.
did you ever find out what you needed to ride it on the road?
In Texas, I believe that you would have to register this bike with the DMV.
I want one ☹️ but I work a 9-5 so my money is always low
It’s classified as a Electric Scooter in my state
Yeah you're gonna find it difficult to ride on certain states who's speed limits won't allow to ride on.
Doh, they don't offer royal purple, but you can get a spare battery...
if you twist the throttle all the way while holding the same break turn on the bike count to either 8-9 sec let go of the throttle and break at the same time then turn off the bike for a few sec then turn it back on (if you did everything right) you just unlocked it and it should go faster about 44-46mph being its new top speed if i remember
THAT'S VIDEO YOU ARE REFERRING TO ONLY WORKS ON SCOOTERS I BELIEVE NOT POSITIVE BUT I AM OVER 90% SURE IT WAS FOR SOME TYPE OF SCOOTER AND HE MENTIONED NOT MOPED OR MOTORCYCLE STYLE....
@@bobotee7072the method i mentioned was for the very same ebike in the video. HOLY CAPS LOCK BRO!
@@ExelArts BOBO sent me the same capsloc comment. I sent him back links to 2 vids about it.
Can i ask how tall you are? Im 6'4 wonder if its too small
I’m 6’1 and 225 lbs. It works well for me.
Dawg! They look sweet!
In my region it's in the scooter class... 😉
$200..whole sale....2 expensive for me..but dying to gt one .one day when it goes down n price..
I like the looks of it a lot! It could go 25 mph faster and be better though.) IMHO
What is the price for m1p?
The link in the the video description will show the latest price as well as a discount coupon code.
I need a indicater.
Awesome bike love it
Is this scooter Chain or Belt Driven?
Neither, HubDrive
Almost positive that it would be classified as a motorcycle. As it has a 2000 watt motor and no pedals. No trails and a motorcycle endorsement with insurance. Maybe wrong?
Does anyone have electric wiring diagram from this chopper in PDF or can you point me to it I would need it if I want to modify stuff.
That might be a question for the manufacturer. Sounds like you have some knowledge that would come in handy if there were ever any issues.
Awesome video
Thanks for watching. 😎
Hi!!
Can you email me the manual for the bike? Please?
Ape hangers won't help your turning circle as your arms are already extended fully !
