I am an INFP and INTPs are one of my favourite types because you can have a really intelligent, deep and interesting conversation with them. They are free thinkers and they get what I am saying, whereas a lot of people don't.
Agreed. INTPs share the same investigation regardless of where the journey may take them intellectually. The shadow part of a psychology is best addressed by both of these types. It is never a guarantee that they will investigate their shadows, but if they do, it will be with courage, compassion, and humble non-judgment.
It's nice to be called intelligent. Sometimes when I speak, I don't sound very intelligent. I can say I have a very good relationship with my children now they're adults, but I had a hard time with disciplining them when they were teenagers - I could always see their point of view in the (sometimes bad) decisions they made. Those were rough years, but they have turned out to be responsible adults, so it wasn't the disaster it seemed to be at the time.
Oh great something I look forward to with my 5 year old daughter now... My discipline is mostly explaining and talking about her behavior when we r alone. I never had to really discipline her so far, she's a bunch of an emotional intelligent child. I guess she goes for fp or fj when growing up, though I can't say if she is introvert or extrovert yet. She's very talkative. She said she enjoys talking to me so much what made my heart melt. I only can work on that staying this way. As long as ur children talk to u and trust u it's the goal in the end I think. And when they trust u they will value ur opinion and advice high I think.
This INFP frequently finds INTPs hypnotically, sometimes dangerously, attractive. You have minds that can go places my mind can't without help. Like drifting too close to an enticing worm hole.
@@LionhartM I loved the video....I m actually annoyed at other people considering infp as the gullible ones , I loved how beautifully you have presented it.. that "honestly" wasn't for you 😂 Sincere appreciation genuine respect for your work Frm a fellow infp We appreciate such videos from our depths of our hearts
INFP here 👋🏻 First of all; I may speak for all of us, but your hair looks great! And the more you worried about it, the more I wanted to make you feel comfortable about it! I just had to comment because, of all the little animations and clinical and well-produced videos I’ve watched about INFPs, this was by far the most accurate and most precise! And I think that is because you’re in INTP to analyze it!m and recognize it so well. Good for you, we love you back! I’m already ready to defend! Will defend !
Infps and intps are the kind of people that can have deep serious discussions about who's anime or comics character is the strongest without feeling weird lol
I as an INTP absolutely love my INFP friend. It’s like, she’s very nice to talk to but not in the ‘I agree to everything u say’ way, and has all the wonderful ideas and gush about songs with me and gives out wonderful hugs too! She also often spaces out like I do and when we sit together we dodn’t have much to say or do but we have a wonderful quite time. It’s like MeTime with warm human presence!
I feel seen :) I think INFP intelligence is overlooked - possibly because of the combo of eccentricity, open-mindedness, and humility (which create the opposite of the stereotypical genius persona, which would be a bit more bold and single-minded if not narrow-minded). I remember when I tested in the 99th percentile as a kid on our standardized tests, my parents' response was to assume I was some kind of savant, because I was so day-dreamy and un-interested in school hah. That said, not always easy for us to be productive with that intelligence, and it can fly under the radar indefinitely. It's like driving a minivan with a 1600 hp Hennessey Twin Turbo V8 engine driving in a 25mph zone.
First of all, I laughed at your analogy because it theoretically could happen but so unrealistic. Second, I agree. I(INTP) have an INFP friend that is probably as intelligent as I am. We could do a lot of hard math (I still have to help her out with the hardest ones but still) and she's more intelligent/better than me in creative projects
Or a better analogy... when Honda was testing their Formula 1 engine (V023) back in the early to mid 2000's. 20,000 rpm tops... imagine about 15,000-20,000 rpm nearly all the time going on in your head. That's what it feels like or seems like.
I'm infp with intp husband. I find him the funniest person ever, so intellectually stimulating, and such a great balance for my tendency to brood. 21 years married and 7 kids. Two nutcases perfectly aligned.
Awwww that was so sweet🥰🥲 As an INFP i feel the most validated when an INTP or ISTP (Ti dom) calls me smart, I think because of that inferior Te, I always think I’m stupid to be honest and i see Ti doms as the smartest, so i get intimidated talking to them because they just don’t let anything illogical go no matter how insignificant it is. I can also feel they get intimidated by me the same way but with my Fi dom instead because I don’t let any small inappropriate thing go and i feel sometimes that I’m hammering their inferior Fe with my Fi so if we don’t understand our insecurities we tend to see the other as arrogant. But when we do understand our insecurities and each other the connection is AMAZING. We just flow so well together so yeah i love Ti doms especially INTP❤️.
" i get intimidated talking to them because they just don’t let anything illogical go no matter how insignificant it is." Omg that's beyond relatable lol
@@StephJ0seph Oh dear.. can you elaborate on that? I am unaware of any of my behavior coming across as intimidating, and it's something I absolutely don't want to.. especially to xNFPs (as they are among my favourite types) :| I don't quite know though whether this applies to me. Do you mean that INTPs like to point out inconsistencies (something I am certainly guilty of)? Or is it more than just that?
I've read that some xNFPs feel being stupid because they often can not explain how they came up with ideas - don't know if that's true, but I will write about it anyway^^. I totally agree with Mike Hart in this regard: xNFPs are great for bouncing off ideas. Whether or not you can justify insights or ideas does not matter, your ideas are often inspiring. And in cases where I need logical justification, like 'why' a certain idea or insight may work, I can think about that for myself - I don't need the other person to logically justify it. INFPs seem to have a great intuition for ideas, which is also quite amazing to me, because I need logic to come up with things.. I don't quite understand how you can arrive at such insights without it. Additionally, xNFPs have such a great understanding of human nature.. probably the types with the greatest emotional intelligence. Rational thinking is only one aspect of intelligence, and I think it matters the least for perceiving people as intelligent (unless one is really solid in that). At least it's the case for how I (and I think I speak for INTPs in general) perceive people, because many people who think they are great in rational thinking are actually just good in rationalizing (coming up with logical reasons which support their view, but at the same time failing to see that the same arguments can be used to contradict their views). Those people are often viewed as intelligent by their peers, but yeah.. INTPs likely don't, as this is binary thinking and for INTPs it's rather easy to figure such people out. Stuff like 'knowing boundaries of one's knowledge', open-mindedness, being able to put yourself into other shoes, humor, improvisation skills, creativity, humility, self-criticalness, introspection and reflection are all facets of intelligence and traits which INTPs value a lot in other people. INFPs tend to score great in a lot of these traits. Well, long story short, not being able to logically reason about ideas has little to do with intelligence.. in fact, some people who can do that (reason about their ideas) just become overconfident about their ideas which is both off-putting and perceived as 'not so intelligent' by INTPs. INFPs tend to have great intuition and you should trust in that. Not being able to defend your view against a T person does not mean you are wrong - and well even if.. everyone is wrong at times ^^ It never matters much to be wrong given that one has not been judgmental. It would be a shame if people don't talk about their ideas simply because they consider themselves as not intelligent, and I think this may be the case for some INFPs. I mean, you said that you always think you are stupid, but your comment gives a very different impression ("if we don't understand our insecurities we tend to see the other as arrogant" - is a pretty intriguing statement for example). xNFPs are among my favorite types aswell. What Mike did not mention in this video, but I am pretty sure that he agrees with me, is that another awesome thing about INFPs is their minimalism. They just don't care much about materialistic things. Like, many INFPs can find so much bliss simply being in nature.. INTPs value that a lot. Well he talked about these points, but the let-live attitude and their high tolerance are also such great traits! xNFPs are the trustworthiest people and the ones I feel so comfortable being around, despite having social anxiety.
@@erraticfungus5802 Awwww thank you so much😊 your words warmed my heart🥰. I’m sorry for not replying earlier, I just saw your comment. I don’t know if you’ll get this since it’s been a while but here is my response: I don’t feel stupid because I don’t know how I came up with ideas. I feel stupid because my logic isn’t as solid as I like it to be. I can do the binary thinking you talked about very well if i want to and sound rational ( I think being a 9w8 on the enneagram helps too because I’m more assertive and confrontational than a stereotypical INFP) but the problem is that I know it’s shallow and I don’t know how to deconstruct ideas as precisely as i would like which is why I see dominant Ti as the most intelligent because they’re the most solid in their logic. And yes I see the problem here that I’m equating intelligence with logic which disregards other aspects of it like emotional intelligence but I think that’s just the inferior Te insecurity that I mentioned because even with ENFPs for example who share the same temperament and functions as me but without the Te inferior part of it, I see them as more confident in their intelligence and more outspoken with their ideas even when they’re wrong and i get on their nerves by correcting them but it doesn’t cause them to stop talking Lol ( I wish it did because they talk my ear off Lol). But if someone kept correcting me like that it would cause me to stop talking because I will feel stupid even when I’m aware that it’s inaccurate because I know I’m emotionally intelligent but I take it for granted. I think this would feel similar to you and ENTPs because they’re more social even if they keep saying insensitive things and ppl keep correcting their inappropriate behavior but that wouldn’t cause them to stop talking the way it would cause you because you’ll feel bad. By the way, in my experience IXTPs especially INTPs come off as very polite and attentive and I love hanging out with your type more than EXTPs even though the latter come off as more cool or charming but I see them as more careless and of course I’m not generalizing here, this is just an observation based on my own experience, any type can be careless. You should just trust yourself more even if you make social mistakes, it’s ok. Learn, correct your behavior and move on. Just like you said it would be a shame for INFPs to not talk about their ideas simply because they don’t consider themselves intelligent. It would also be a shame for INTPs to stay silent because they don’t see themselves as good ppl or socially intelligent. That’s the self-growth journey each one of us has to take no matter what type we got. It wasn’t our choice to be born with the cognition we have but it is our choice to concur our weaknesses.
@Smile Wrinkles Thanks for elaborating! I am a bit surprised about what you said about ENFPs, because I thought they may have the same issue, as it makes sense to me that not being able to deconstruct ideas precisely while also not putting ideas to practice (which I think is often the case for NPs) causes insecurity, despite being certain of one's cognitive skills. Maybe their extraversion also gives them more positive feedback to counter that. I at least have the problem that not applying ideas makes me feel insecure at times. So yeah, interesting that you note that the difference may be inferior Te. I do not know so much about cognitive functions but I'll read into that. Ah well, what you said about being confident despite being corrected about inappropriate behavior does not apply to me. I think I am an HSP and a quite some INFP traits also apply to me. The test on 16 personalities actually puts me at 80% F. There are some questions like "Would it be hard for you to fire someone who does not do their job correctly but who is very loyal". And god, that would be hard af for me. If I notice that I said or did insensitive things I feel very bad as a result and overthink it a lot. Friends actually thought that I was an F. So I am not the textbook INTP, more a mixture type. I just feel like T describes my way of making decisions a lot better than F. I base decisions on feelings, but only when I have logical justifications for doing so. Thanks for those kind words :) I actually do think I have emotional intelligence and I am aware of what is insensitive to people. But I am socially inept. I am really bad at engaging in most everday conversations (especially small talk) and additionally my mind just does not work in social situations. Also I have little practice as I am quite socially isolated and in social situations I am usually very withdrawn. I also typically feel like I have nothing interesting to add in conversations. And, I struggle with talking. I can express myself clearly with text, but when it comes to speaking, I suck. I am pretty sure that my social problems stem more from negative experiences with narcissistic and sociopathic people (probably that's what really trained my awareness regarding saying or doing insensitive things as those people are so vulnerable), rather than that my social problems are innate. I was very social and outgoing up to age 10. I did say I have social anxiety but it's more avoidant personality disorder I think. But I guess what you said may be true for many INTPs, namely that they have fears of being insensitive as they may not understand what may be insensitive.
I'm an INFP and I love when other types can describe mine better than I can, like in this case. It is heartwarming to see when people notice our odd little quirks.
INFP (make) with INTP brother. We are best friends, we essentially never get bored when we are together. He made me tougher and I showed him the the importance of emotions. I didn’t realize how lucky we got with our brother pairing until I understood typing on a deeper level.
I find ntps to actually be the most encouraging people out there (for me, personally). They're not over the top like Dom fe can be, so it's the perfect little dose of concentrated encouragement :p thanks for lovin on the infps Mike!
It's great that someone can see beyond the surface of INFPs and not just judge a book by its cover. To me, INTPs are the most intelligent type but INFPs are probably the best predictors of future social trends because we can feel what moves the masses and what they are looking for - without the masses being aware of it at the time. George Orwell was an INFP. My secret crush is an INTP and I was the one who initiated the contact. He is an INTP prime example in the best possible way :) If he hadn't become a successful doctor, I'm sure he would have been a great physics professor or teacher :) Even though, as an INFP, I don't share all of his hobbies, I can let him be who he is. I've also noticed how some people think he's quirky, but to me, that just makes him more attractive, lovely, and interesting. He is a very caring person but has sometimes difficulties expressing it. I believe that INFPs are INTPs' softer twin :)
I’ve now figured out that both my mom and my sister are INFPs with my sister being a bit more extroverted and my mom being super introverted. I really connect with them and they are the only people that truly understand me. We have a lot of opposing view points in politics and such but we share many values and can talk about most things in the grand scheme of the world and the human experience. Their great to have around. My sister can be funny sometimes and there’s my mom being a ditz haha
It's always nice to hear other people's perspectives on INFPs. We can be incredibly down on ourselves and self critical at times. Hearing stuff like this can help snap us out of it.
Remeber power puff girls in the late 1990's? Would bubbles be an "INFP"? She was not the "smartest" or the most combat savvy but the very moment her sisters are hurt; her power explodes as she overcomes all her limits to do whst is right.
Awww thanks, Mike. Yup to the dancing. I've always been like that and my son doesn't get it. He'll come out and be like frig, she's at it again. Why?? 😂 But yeah, if a person is in our inner circle we will go to the mat defending them.
Aw, that's sweet to hear. I'm an INFP with an INTP husband. Both of us are artists, btw. He's by far the most honest, authentic, and wisest person I know. He's made me a better person by grounding me and forcing me to confront harsh truths I otherwise would hide from. He also struggles to not let his ego get the better of him, which sounds like a flaw, but it's worthy of admiration and respect. And I guess I should include myself in there as well, to be fair. That self-reflection and that constant struggle are a mark of humility and are essential to achieving purer objectivity.
As an INFP, I find that INTP ares not the best at expressing their feelings in words but their way of caring is just so pure and honest. My INTP friend stll listens to me rambling about my depression tho he said he couldn't understand my complex emotions:')
As an INFP married to an INTP, I have to tell you...in the beginning of our relationship the bouncing of ideas off of me was fun and flattering. 7 years later, it's just...triggering. I feel INTPs are mega escapists, and have their priorities backwards. They tend to avoid responsibilities of daily life by spending most of their time in their dreamland, fantasising. We INFPs fantasise too, but we do that in our free time, not when we have stuff to do. It can feel disheartening to constantly expect the INTP male to return to reality and support you with whatever is pressing in the household/relationship or with children.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm an INFP married to an INTP as well, and our relationship is the opposite. I'm the one hopelessly lost in dreamland, while he makes it work with his schedule and gets things done.
"Bouncing off ideas" Thiss. I am INFP. My friend is INTP who is the most creative and talented person for me. He would come up with different ideas and it makes me think of crazy alternatives. Other types always ignore my ideas so I don't bother saying them out loud but with INTPs, they actually listen and consider my idea so when we combine, it turns out amazing😁😁
INFPS AND INTPS? Hmm, this will be a long one since INFPs are my ideal types. INFPs to INTPs are what metal are to magnets, there's just no way I can resist their shy behavior combined with their starry and enthusiastic eyes. Their closed off personality is just too mysterious to ignore and not be curious about. I JUST LOVE THEM!!! They've made me so emotional. To me, INFPs are the only people I would openly express myself to. People say INTPs don't talk about their emotions and are not good with them. It's true until they collide with an INFPs. It's like my emotional intelligence just skyrockets. I've heard INFPs brag that it's so hard to spot that they have a crush on you or they really like you. You just can't spot it. Is it really? Is it hard? A BIG NO FROM ME! When I hear them say that, I laugh in the most arrogant way possible because I've always easily spotted they romantically like me. I never once not noticed it. I think they just really like my maturity, mysteriousness mixed with childish look on life. Their love never goes under my intuition radar. ----Her subtle attention to each of my word is painfully obvious on her little face. Her holding her smile in while I'm looking deeply into her eyes is as obvious as blue sky. Only her getting my complex jokes. Her looking at me from the corner of her eyes and then very nervously looking away isn't difficult to pick up. Her getting bubbly and blushy after I encourage her is too cute to just not pick up on. Her ignoring me so that I call her name to take her attention. I see through all the little silly games they love to play in love. My emotional intelligence becomes so good around INFPs that I almost immediately understand what their insecurities are, what they're feeling, what they're passionate about, what they're sad about, what they wanna hear, and how they wanna hear it so that they don't get hurt. -----Like this one time, one INFP that was into me felt like her participation didn't matter in the class. I sensed it immediately. I went up to her, eased her up a bit, told her why her participation matters a lot to this class and me(yes I actually expressed It matters to me, very non-INTP thing to do). And you should've seen her, it's like she was trying to look away but couldn't resist my face. Her face couldn't believe someone trusts in her that she can do it. I know immediately when an INFPs have a crush on me. The thing is, they're very subtle and indirect. I'm a male INTP-A. I have studied what women usually like. What they find attractive. Every male INTP should do that if they want a healthy romantic relationship. It makes things so much easier. This is a tip for INTPs. When you put on a very attractive outfit that women like, like a long coat with a buttoned up shirt, basic hairstyle, and smooth pant with clean boots, you get confident so much that confidence becomes an aura around you that people notice immediately. INTPs don't know this, but we can be really really charismatic to people when we want to. Especially around INFPs. Once, an INFPs told me after a long conversation that I'm very charismatic(Deep down, I was blushing but on the surface I shrugged it off and acted stoic). If an INTP studies people, and know what they like. They can charm the F*ck out of people, especially women because Mature INTPs are just masculine but in a kind way. If you combine their intellectual capacity, a stylish outfit, their quick and cutting wit, their use of voice, their ability to read people, and their confidence, you'll get a really charismatic INTP. Seriously, I've done it so many times. I got compliments from ENFPs, ISFPs, INFJs and INFPs, and other people(whose personality I don't know) that I'm very charming. I got looks from random strangers. I saw girls staring me down from afar. I got looks of envy from other men too, I'm not joking. This one time, I actually made a girl(stranger) shiver and blush just by looking at her with a genuine smile and adoring eyes(I'm average in attractiveness btw). The personality most charmed by us will always be INFPs. Mature INTPs who are good with emotions seem magical to them. They get swooned by the smallest unpredictable things we INTPs say while flirting . ---Like this one time, I was asking for an INFPs signature, but she was hesitant. When I rephrased my sentence to be more personal with her. I said "I want YOUR handwriting on this paper". She was just moved and started smiling as she gave me her signature and the rest of the day she was checking me out from the corner of her eyes. She knew where I was the entire time. I sometimes also love to slip her name into every sentence because it makes her blush and feel butterflies. I can see her eyes glow every time I speak up her name. They just get us, our odd wordings, our humor, our theories, and our feelings. And I get them too. It's mostly because we not judgy of them and appreciate every little thing about them. INFPs, you are just magnetic. I, an INTP, know you're very private and put a wall in front of you even in front of people you really like. But as INTPs, wee take it as a challenge worthy of out precious time. I know that if you're hiding something behind that wall, it surely is worthy to break that wall and see what gems you're hiding behind that wall. And everytime I've broken that wall down I always found something that made me grow and love you even more. People like INFPs not being to able to resist INTPs is one thing that INTPs are really really proud of. It makes me act arrogant that someone as dreamy and intelligent as them mostly like someone like me. 10/10 personality type because they feel like just can resist me.
U made me happy with how u described us INFP's, especially about the intelligence part, when i was a student people used to think i was just the dumb and quiet guy, when in reality i was the one with highest results in the entire school XD i also found funny the teasing and dancing reference, thats totally me when im in high spirits while close to people i can trust. great video ^^
wait, it feels so weird that the first thing he said was that we are intelligent... I mean, maybe? not sure but like, I always feel like I'm the stupidest in the room, lol, so I don't know how to take this.
Im an INTP female and I adore INFP men. I don’t think I will ever catch one…they have a great potential to break my heart. They are fickle and have very high standards for being wooed/seduced. They are positively dreamy though.
New sub. And have to say...this is the first time I've been made to feel positive about my personality type...INFPs seem to be the butt of the joke more often than not. But I'll let you have the last word..as long as I get the last laugh, lol. Seriously though...people say they like people who are different...then I'll walk into a group of pierced up tie-died ultra feminists and open my mouth one time and they just stare back at me confused or expressionless and at least one will simply say, "you're weird." Like it's a bad thing, lol. Posers, lmao.
@@ghostsheet777 I think you may be right...the truly "weird" people...well...appearing "normal" protects us...it does get confusing when looking weird is the new normal, lol.
Aww thanks for this! I really like intps too; my boyfriend and one of my friends are intps, and I would say you people are my favorite type, I may make a video like this about your type haha!
My childhood friend is an INTP and I am an INFP. When we talk to each other, we don't use any formalities. Just right in to the point. We often discussing ideas, sharing insights, etc. about whatever. Seems like both of us tend to be excited by ideas even though it seems like we perceive ideas a bit differently. While I care more about the nuance of something, he seems to care more about the efficacy of something even though I still understand why that's exciting.
Awww, thank you for all that. You sound like someone I'd wanna be friends with. My father is an INTP as well but, unfortunately, we don't get along that much... I miss some moral values in him. He can be very cold sometimes with his facts.
This dancing around the house in a giddy mood and teasing is something I can relate to. After a while I think I'm completely annoying and feel bad about it, but I somehow can't help it. I'm mostly entertaining myself and others are part of it. I even do it when I'm alone.
Yeah. I'm here acing my AP and IB classes and then disappointing my parents with the dream of being a writer and artist in a quite england countryside instead of being a business person or scientist😂. Yes, we can be very smart, but that doesn't mean we apply it anywhere significant or make the smartest decisions, thats partially why we are not "known" for being one of the smarter types or in his words "they can be 'surprisingly' intelligent".
You described my open mindedness perfectly. Yes, I will entertain ANY idea. I also won't discard an idea unless I feel it has been proven completely wrong. I am very open to "conspiracy theories" (a term invented by the CIA to get the general public to instantly disregard whatever ideas they don't want them looking in to). Sometimes I have to stop myself from going down any rabbit holes for a while though because the darkness sometimes found becomes overwhelming.
You are such a sweet guy!!! Are either of your parents an INFP? It was so nice to hear your thoughts on how dedicated INFPs are as parents, and you had a very sweet look as you thought of it (your own parent?) Thank you for the insight and video 🙏💗🌷✨
Intp’s are that friend everyone likes cuz they like to make everyone feel good about them selves. Infp’s are like his emo cousin 😂 intp’s mean well tho infp’s are just closed about stuff
Idk about other INFPs. In general i am a pacifist. But I will come for ur head if u make anyone feel they have less value as a human being. I don't even care if i lose my job 😅. That's about the only thing that can make me go berserk. I hope there are people who can relate 😅
I find a lot of people aren't willing to assume that intelligent and especially scientifically knowledgeable people might be INFPs or ENFPs instead of some sort of high Ti or Te people. For instance, the science fiction short story writer is constantly typed as an INTP but I'm not convinced. Yes, he bases his stories on a lot of technological what-ifs, but the moral and value focus is so strong that I really can't help but think he could be an INFP. Same for CS Lewis, commonly typed as an INTJ, but I still can't help but wonder. Or people like Michio Kaku, which seems like a BLATANTLY obvious ENFP to me but a lot of people insist on typing him as an an ENTP because SCIENCE. I could still be wrong about any of these three but I still think the possibility they're XNFPs shouldn't be ignored. So, thanks for acknowledging that kind of possibility! :-)
I've dedicated my life to discerning truth. So if you ever would like to use me as a "sounding board" as you put it, I'm available. I don't reach out to people often but you seem cool. I enjoy playing in the NE (extroverted intuition) sandbox with NP's.
Look at these effing rational types.. just coasting through life with no emotional hangovers.. sigh.. kidding (but not really) it's cool.. makes you realise there are many different ways of being.. helps you snap out of your incessant feeeeeelings.... so yeah thanks :)
Guess I'm a true INFP. I don't know you and this is the first video I'm watching of yours, but after this I want you to tell me your ideas and feelings about all the theories😆 Also, I feel called out about the dancing around the house at random times. I have rhythm with no skill, but will I still do it, yeah!
I’m an INFP and my boyfriend is an INTP, these were such beautiful words I’d like to think he feels the same. We’ve been together for 5 years though so I think I’m good haha. It’s interesting that you mention quirky, because yes to others I probably am, but honestly he as an intp is quirky to me. Honestly my ideas/thoughts are sometimes so out there he doesn’t even get me. XD probably because I’m coming from a total different perspective that isn’t always based on what is already proven fact. I like to think about what we don’t know yet. I do like to talk about controversial topics too.
This was a real nice confidence booster and i was nodding a long with you. Its not often i have moments where I celebrate or acknowledge these awesome parts of my personality, but today I did so thank you sir. Us quirks have gotta stick together.
INTPs are dolls & INFPs are soft toys. Lol this is probably the difference I find between me(INFP) & my INTP friend. I don't know how differently I should explain the differences. But we make up good overthinker couples Lmao
This made me laugh a lot more than I expected. I am a little giddy with the compliments, despite knowing that they are not directed towards me. Thanks for the video.
I don't know if it's coincidence... But u do the same gesture with ur hair my fiance does and he is an intp, u both even wear ur hair kinda the same 🤣 that's so funny to me, I'm sorry... I am infp btw and besides some communicate problems that mostly occurs on my side I am really deeply in love with my fiance, hehe
Any advice for possibly dating an INTP male as an INFP female ? I'm checking out yt because a particular INTP is kinda growing on me a bit. I'm living that whole 'once bitten twice shy' thing.
INFP here ..and my favorite type is INTP !..their Ti function is amazing cuz it's our demon function as infps (the last one 😅).. They are smart , amazing , they speak deeply ..but what attacks me to them is their weirdness 😁 ..just like us , INTPs are weird and we INFPs are weird ..so we can get along ..and accepting each other ..❣️
Not sure if you've already made a video about this, but I was wondering if you could do a type comparison of the inferior functions for INFP and INTP? I believe that I am an INFP, but I often feel like I have Fe somewhere in my stack.
I am an INFP and INTPs are one of my favourite types because you can have a really intelligent, deep and interesting conversation with them. They are free thinkers and they get what I am saying, whereas a lot of people don't.
Yeah! Another reason why I rlly like INTP's
sameeee
same here
Definitely. I really like intps and istps.
Agreed. INTPs share the same investigation regardless of where the journey may take them intellectually. The shadow part of a psychology is best addressed by both of these types. It is never a guarantee that they will investigate their shadows, but if they do, it will be with courage, compassion, and humble non-judgment.
I always think that pets owned by INFP's are also extremely fortunate. They are ridiculously well loved, cherished and well taken care of.
Yesss discipline is a common NF struggle.
That timid part honestly ....we r innocently wild :)
I like that way of putting it

Lucky you. I had an idiot ESFJ dad with low empathy
It wouldn’t let me edit but I wanted to add that I’m an INTP
@Kookie-tc2ng fi is VERY intense and intp cannot fully grasp such intensity.
I’m an INFP and I looove the intelligence and stoic nature of INTPs ❤
INFP here 👋🏻
First of all; I may speak for all of us, but your hair looks great!
Thank you beautiful
Infps and intps are the kind of people that can have deep serious discussions about who's anime or comics character is the strongest without feeling weird lol
Hey, INFP here. Thank you for the love.
I feel seen :)
I think INFP intelligence is overlooked - possibly because of the combo of eccentricity, open-mindedness, and humility (which create the opposite of the stereotypical genius persona, which would be a bit more bold and single-minded if not narrow-minded).

" i get intimidated talking to them because they just don’t let anything illogical go no matter how insignificant it is."
Omg that's beyond relatable lol
I don’t know if you’ll get this since it’s been a while but here is my response:
I don’t feel stupid because I don’t know how I came up with ideas.
As an INTP I also really like all that stuff about INFPs, they're the best haha 💞
💕💖
That has to be the most accurate AND complimentary synopsis of an INFP I've ever heard. As an INFP myself, I really appreciate that--thank you!
INTPs are so good at actually _getting_ us. i love that.
I can die in peace now.
INFPs are warriors of love.
Conceptually; they be cuddles that warm souls, like puppies, kitties and all the other adorable stuff concentrated into one being.
I find ntps to actually be the most encouraging people out there (for me, personally). They're not over the top like Dom fe can be, so it's the perfect little dose of concentrated encouragement :p thanks for lovin on the infps Mike!
I’ve been told that :)

Well, thank you so much! - INFP
I love INTPs as an INFP. I found an awesome soul who is INTP and he is amazingly great♡︎
Aw, that's sweet to hear.

Maybe I think INFP are like opposite than INTPs in terms of feelings maybe that's why we find them kinda unique
I'm an INFP and my bf is INTP. I love him so much 💖✨
Im an INTP female and I adore INFP men.
Seriously though...people say they like people who are different...then I'll walk into a group of pierced up tie-died ultra feminists and open my mouth one time and they just stare back at me confused or expressionless and at least one will simply say, "you're weird." @@ghostsheet777 I think you may be right...the truly "weird" people...well...appearing "normal" protects us...it does get confusing when looking weird is the new normal, lol.
I find myself dancing by myself a lot, sometimes without music! I just create things in my head that make me want to dance!
Awww, thank you for all that. You sound like someone I'd wanna be friends with. My father is an INTP as well but, unfortunately, we don't get along that much... I miss some moral values in him. He can be very cold sometimes with his facts.
Thanks bro, as an INFP I appreciate that.
4:15 they can be really fun
Me an infp: that's an opinion
Him: ...in my opinion
Me: ._.
I am an INFP...Hope to have a bf in the future..
Sir Issac Newton
Albert Einstein
Paul Dirac
Rene Descart
Charls Darwin
Fernando Pessoa
All of them were INTP and they changed the world
I've dedicated my life to discerning truth. So if you ever would like to use me as a "sounding board" as you put it, I'm available. I don't reach out to people often but you seem cool. I enjoy playing in the NE (extroverted intuition) sandbox with NP's.
it's me (INFP) and I second you at each & every point.
So weird, it's like you're describing me without even knowing me lol
Love your channel by the way, Mike! 💛
this whole video makes me feel really appreciated thank you sir
This video is hott. I might be INFP.
I'm an INFP male and I approve this message 👍
Look at these effing rational types.. just coasting through life with no emotional hangovers.. sigh.. kidding (but not really) it's cool.. makes you realise there are many different ways of being.. helps you snap out of your incessant feeeeeelings.... so yeah thanks :)
💗😍💗 I feel so loved! Thank youuu
I needed to hear that!!!❤ I love you guys to intp's!! 🎉🎉
I love this! You totally nailed it. I was just dancing in my room to westside story. So funny how you just really understand us! Thank you
Glad you related :)
checking out himself on cam is very INTP lmao 🤣🤣🤣
3:50 you'd LOVE "Fringe", I feel:) Last 2 seasons of "Goliath" as well.
intelligence and humility - true
Guess I'm a true INFP. I don't know you and this is the first video I'm watching of yours, but after this I want you to tell me your ideas and feelings about all the theories😆
Also, I feel called out about the dancing around the house at random times.
I come from a more hippy spiritual perspective when he comes from a more scientific one.
This was a real nice confidence booster and i was nodding a long with you. Its not often i have moments where I celebrate or acknowledge these awesome parts of my personality, but today I did so thank you sir. Us quirks have gotta stick together.
Thank you for your kind words about us infp! I’ve never known an intp, but I hope to someday! 😊
This made me feel really good, thank you.
This is lovely 🙏 thank you INFP
INTPs are dolls & INFPs are soft toys.
Lol this is probably the difference I find between me(INFP) & my INTP friend.
I don't know how differently I should explain the differences. But we make up good overthinker couples
Lmao
Your hair look great! Hope you didnt change them... ;-)
This made me laugh a lot more than I expected. I am a little giddy with the compliments, despite knowing that they are not directed towards me. Thanks for the video.
Appreciate this, appreciate you. Thanks for sharing:)
Thank you for making your video, from an INFP. 👍
Me seeing the title knowing my crush is an INTP:👀👀👀
INFP here... You should see some of the code I write
This warmed my heart. Thank-you.
You are such beautiful humanbeing
Aww thank you
Any advice for possibly dating an INTP male as an INFP female ?
I'm checking out yt because a particular INTP is kinda growing on me a bit.
I'm living that whole 'once bitten twice shy' thing.
INFP here ..and my favorite type is INTP !..their Ti function is amazing cuz it's our demon function as infps (the last one 😅)..
They are smart , amazing , they speak deeply ..but what attacks me to them is their weirdness 😁 ..just like us , INTPs are weird and we INFPs are weird ..so we can get along ..and accepting each other ..❣️
4:57 made me smile as an infp
Not sure if you've already made a video about this, but I was wondering if you could do a type comparison of the inferior functions for INFP and INTP? I believe that I am an INFP, but I often feel like I have Fe somewhere in my stack.
will you do INFJs? Likes and dislikes
This is so sweet :)
