Hey! My cards finally came in yesterday! I remember when you wished me luck on my pulls; hoping I pulled an awesome Paul Skenes card. I pulled two! Two relics: one from a blaster, another from a hobby box. Both were different. Happy ripping, bro!
I love the red parallels this year. I barely noticed them last year. I got two fat packs at Walmart and a blaster at Game Stop today. The blaster had 5 Ranger reds and I ended up with a Hunter Green, Johnny Bench and a Paul Skenes red. The fat pack have the pinks that look really cool too. I got 5 Royals pinks and a Shohei Ohtani pink. The pink looks really good with the royal blue uniform of Bobby Witt jr and the big pink bubble Salvy is blowing on his card. The pink looks nice with the blue in Shohei's uniform too.

Bought a few blasters from Target, and opened two so far. MASSIVE BANGERS! I got three duplicates of the following: Hunter Green, Barry Larkin, Frank Thomas, Eloy Jimenez, Louis Robert, Dylan Cease, Strawberry, Alvarez, Alonso, Lindor, Senga, and Nimo. So 0-99, I only got reds and White Sox (one padre), 100-199, I only got Mets, 200-300, I got only Phillies and Cardinals … how is that possible.
Ok, opened two more. The hits keep on coming. If there are any Hunter Greene, Pete Alonso, Daryl Strawberry, Francisco Alvarez, Starling Marte, Brandon Nemo, Kodai Senga, or Francisco Lindor super fans, let me know. Because I have 5 of each. $100 in blasters, and my best cards are Elly base, Dominguez base insert, Holliday base insert, and PCA red.
Stadium club is nice this year for sure, good stuff, I ordered a bunch of fat packs, looking fwd to the pinks and have enjoyed the reds out of the blasters I opened too thus far.
Did a profit challenge myself with one compact box. The 85 dollar box turned into about 115 value. Pulled a one per case Going Yard insert of Yordan Alvarez from the box. Pulled a base Skenes from the box also. The lowest numbered card I pulled from Stadium club was a black 1/1 Trout insert. I think it should have been autographed but it wasn't.

Nice challenge. You did well. I have yet to pull Elly or Skenes. I did get a black and red Merrill in the same blaster box. I also pulled a Tristin Gray auto. From another blaster. Also in a value pack got a red and a pink Ohtani as well as a Luis Tiant on-card base auto. Also a value pack with a pink Judge. The value packs are team centric as well I was lucky to get a few packs of Yankees and Dodgers. I think the Lawrence Butler card is so cool looking and want to pull in a green anything or Chrome.
I pulled a Xander Bogart and a Xander Bogart Black foil. I also pulled a Bobby Witt, Jr., Professionals so overall it was a great pack and I just purchased one box. I also got an Elly de la Cruz in the pack. I wish my red foils would have been Royals, but my red foils were Milwaukee Brewers minus Churio.
Corey Seager /25 from a fatpack. Grabed 4 fatpacks from walmart. Walmart was out of blasters. Nice pink and red parallels of rookies also. And rookie chrome.
I had a blaster that the first card in straight 8 packs were reds players. I would’ve rather had them all in the red parallel though. That’s my local team.
I've only opened one blaster of Stadium Club this year and my red parallels were Astros except for one Nolan Ryan. I know Ryan played for the Astros, but he's in his Rangers jersey and it's a Rangers card. I'm not sure if that's weird or not, but there are plenty of other Astros on the checklist that could have been included. I don't really care because I love Nolan Ryan and the red parallel looks super nice. I love Stadium Club but I don't open a lot of it. I'm more inclined to this year because I PC Elly and I gotta get me one of those red Elly cards. If I don't get it in the next few boxes I'll buy one and now you've got me wanting one. Really clean card.
I wasn't going to collect 2024 Stadium Club because I was already putting the RCs I liked away from 9 others Topps sets. If I put together the Topps Stadium Club Chrome set, then I am blaming you...hahaha. The Gold, Black, Green, Red and Pink Foil has a lot of chipping issues...Chrome has a lot of issues also...Green Foil and Refractors look nice because they don't come out that much. Blasters seem to be a good Value.

So my LCS here in rochester (WeTheHobby) have had a deal goin if u buy an update hobby and a jumbo, u get 20% off both....i picked one up a few wks ago did pretty good, then got another yesterday pulled the adley rutch 1/1 ASG relic....totally awesome! And what a deal too, i still have faith they have us little guys in mind here n there....love what ur doin i give u credit for rekindling my love for baseball cards. Since collecting got popular again ive stuck to football til i found ur channel (good rookie class sure helps too haha)!! Happy rippin and GO BILLS!!!!
I think yoir dominguez price is a bit steep, on ebay it goes for $2-3 not sure if its higher on 130 point. But none the less, great blasters and love your content. Being from NY (watkins glen area) its fun seeing someone "local" and get good insight into the hobby from them.

Id recommend reading the book about ty cobb that pretty much outlined his life after retirement and how he would drive around with 1 million in cash amd a 357 magnum kept in a paper bag, it end pretty sad, dude was pretty much alone

I have myself to blame for this. I told myself I would never buy Stadium Club again after 2022 and 2023. I am not 100% sure on the exact number of what I bought, but I think it was something like 12 blasters and probably 20 fat packs? My overall thought is both blasters and fatpacks are absolute terrible purchases. Like you pointed out, I would guess that at least 50% of my red parallels have edge/corner issues. The chrome refractors, black, and sepia parallels look good though. I only pulled parallels of four worthwhile rookies ... a Jackson Holiday chrome, Masyn Winn red, Imanaga red, and a Paul Skenes red. The Winn had corner issues and the Skenes had edge issues ... they would probably be PSA 8s and are therefore basically worthless. The collation was overall really bad. I think the way the math works out, I probably have around 800 total cards. Yet out of the 300 card set, I came short of completing it by around 30 cards. I pulled 2 Skenes, 1 Elly, 1 Merrill, 1 Holiday, 2 Imanaga, 2 Caminero, 1 Ohtani, 1 Judge. There were 37 players that i pulled between 4-7 cards of each. For example, I pulled 5 Manny Machado, 5 Kim, 5 Musgrove, 6 Yu Darvish, 6 Dylan Cease ... yet 1 Jackson Merill? 5 Will Clark, 6 Buster Posey, zero Jung Hoo Lee, zero Louis Matos, and zero Marco Luciano. 5 Bernie Williams and 5 Gleyber Torres, and 1 Judge, 1 Soto, and 2 Austin Wells. 5 Outman and 4 Will Smith, 1 Ohtani, 1 freeman, 1 Betts, 1 Yamamoto. 6 Hunter Greene, 5 Barry Larkin, but 1 Elly. A few other noteworthy were 6 Frank Thomas, 6 Louis Robert, 5 Eloy Jimenez.; 7 Ian Happ, 5 of 4 different Mets players. Very few Twins, Guardians, Orioles, or Brewers. Bizarre and unfortunate. Out of that bunch, I pulled 2 numbered cards and 1 auto (Pirates relief pitcher). Zero image variations. I am thinking hard, and I feel like this may be the worst result I have ever had. Back in 2022/2023 winter, I got 12 Stadium Club from Walmart because they were on sale for $12 each. I got zero autos, zero image variations, and zero numbered cards. At least I ended up with a few each of the good rookies. Seriously, I am not buying this product next year.
I like the videos. But I doubt anyone is buying a Jackson Merrill black parallel for 25$. Maybe the 1st couple sold, then it's a 5$ card. Not a hatter at all. Just sayin.

The red parallels are all collated together for the same team. The pinks are the same way in the fat packs.
