@@LetsLearnThisTogether i mean a localization system in the game that allow you to switch between english, french, italian, ecc... i saw only old videos about that
@@LetsLearnThisTogether I mean you start the game and before the start menu there is a display where you can choose the language of the game, sorry if my english is not the best 🙏
You can take any path, but whatever you choose to do, my advice is to follow along with any project or tutorial, not simply watch. And after each video, take a break and try to do it solo, or expand it with your knowledge. You’ll only get better if you stretch yourself and try hard.
So do you mean to follow some tutorials and do it the same things ? and after do it by myself correct ? do you have any good videos or web which is really good all explained ? @@LetsLearnThisTogether
This is really helpful for getting started. One thing I am still confused about is how the timeline works. Like, suppose I have an animation on the screen to start the game and it takes three seconds. In a video editor, I can just grab the timeline bar and pull it over, but I don't see anything like that here. Do you have a video that explains how gamemaker distinguishes between the 0 second mark and the 3 second mark?
Honestly the timeline is extremely underused. I wouldn’t be surprised if they archived it in the future. I’ve tried to use it but nearly never do, and haven’t ever seen a real case issue.
@@LetsLearnThisTogether i guess I’m just trying to determine how to distinguish between Time 1 and Time 2. But it sounds like that’s just now how this is built, I’ll have to get used to it.
Why only 5.3K views?
Your video is so underrated.
Thanks for posting such a beginner friendly tutorial
WELCOME BACK!
Super helpful!
Love your videos, your english is extremely understandable, is it possible to have a tutorial where we can change the localization language?
Sure :)
But the answer is File -> Preferences -> General and then Language is right there.

Oh, you mean on the game you’re making? That’s a great idea. I know of a few ways to do something like this. I’ll add it to my list.
@@LetsLearnThisTogether Thank you so much Aaron! I'm following your videos on your website by the way, really really good courses thank you! 🙏
Hello, I am absolute beginner. Please, would you suggest what is the best thing to do ? Where I should start ? From 1 step to another ?
