  • Recently we took you on a journey to Qatar and the USA. Today, however, we are heading to a unique city, full of culture, art, but also modernity. For soccer fans, London also reminds of the giant clubs that have remained among Europe's best for decades. Great money, great footballers and great stadiums.
This is the capital of England, where at least twice a year the two clubs compete for the reign in the northern part of it face each other. Arsenal and Tottenham - a duel that electrifies the entire football world.
The beginnings were tentative and.... surprising. Before The Gunners and Spurs entered the biggest stage together with their beautiful stadiums, they had to struggle for many years to move forward. This defines their facilities, which have been impressive for decades and bring together thousands of fans every week. So let's move on to where, though wet and cold, it's hot with football emotions. Highbury, White Hart Lane, The Emirates, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - in the battle for stadium immortality.
Which one of 4 of these stadiums is your favourite? Let us know in the comment section. Don’t forget to leave a subscription and a like, thanks!

Yeah and it's a shame too for all but very, very young West Ham fans who well remember Upton Park because the nature of that ground aided some fantastic crowd atmospheres down the years, something that it's near impossible to recreate in the cavernous Olympic stadium. True. Their last trophy they got that can be considered at least somewhat worthy was the League Cup back in 2008. Tottenham as well as it's haters have expectations, that are too high for them, like being part of the so-called big 6. I think Spurs should lower their expectations and rather compare themselves to the likes of Brentford and Crystal Palace rather than the true giants like Man City, Man Utd and even Arsenal.

When the poor 97 Liverpool fans Died it holded over 54k fans now it holds almost 40k fans but because of health & Safety reasons they can only sell 35k fans until the health & Safety issues are sorted out at Hillsborough stadium it’s proper old school stadium at the home of Sheffield Wednesday 💙🔥💯👏👍👊

Maybe for a home fan but for an away fan they haven't learnt any lessons. I was there a couple of years ago in the cup with Arsenal and they only opened one turnstile and had a huge bottleneck leading up to kick off. Half the seats in the away area were cordoned off with a sign saying they were unsafe. If there is one ground that you would expect this not to happen now, it's Hillsborough.

@@MarkPitsmoorOwl I was at the game and I know what I saw. I never listen to Liverpool fans, they are professional moaners. It surprised and shocked me. It was at the Leppings Lane stand and as it wasn't a big game, well not for Arsenal, there wasn't the manic crush to get in, just huge queues. I've been to Hillsborough many times and this was the worst occasion. I was also at the game in 1979 in the 3rd round of the F.A. Cup in the snow. One of the only games to be played that day and the Wednesday fans on the spion kop were chucking snowballs at Pat Jennings before the game. That was a 1-1 draw and went to four replays, all of which I went to. Our ex striker Brian Hornsby kept on scoring for Wednesday which is why it took so many games to get through.

You can't compare 2 stadiums that were designed and built over a decade apart. Design and construction methods are constantly improving. Tottenham stadium is the best in the league because it's brand new. However introducting the NFL is not very British and a bad move.

What makes you think it's of any value? 😂
NFL at the THS doesn't take anything away from the football side.
They have separate pitch, separate changing room.
Yet the full house at every NFL games with Londoners, Europeans and Americans coming to the stadium says otherwise.
While most stadiums are dormant in October, Spurs stadium is generating money and enhancing the local economy.
