I am not sure if it was just me, but in some whispers, crying can be heard, and in some, singing (One whisper sounded like that). if indeed these can be heard, not sure where these would come from as I have not really played any previous Halo games (But was looking into its lore/story which is waaay complicated but interesting lol). If that is Cortana / Halsey, I think 343 did a good job to clear up the mess. They wanted to humanize Cortana as much as possible how she probably feels about the situation, but yeah it is a little bit weird she realizes it that fast. Well AI girls lol.
@@tlfearofthedarkhun387 I think Cortana’s crying because she knows she’s doing horrible things but can’t stop herself because of rampancy and because it’s in her programming to accomplish a mission no matter the cost for the “greater good”. With Halsey as a template, that just multiplied.
@@hbjetta Makes it more sad, and actually after watching some reviews and opinions, I agree with those saying that these moments with Cortana should have been "on screen", or at least the very last one should have been Cortana being there instead of a flashback, data lingering around. Being an iconic character she deserved a "perfectly perfect" ending. Just like Vader had in ROTJ, I would never imagine him dying off screen lol. I wouldn't have minded seeing her actually getting deleted by the Chief for example. I watched the Halo 3 and Halo 4 endings and those are really well made. Not saying this one is bad, it is actually good, but could have been way better.
