    I have been putting off doing my zipper bag, but now I and excited about doing it. I have a good tip about getting your corners crisp, use a crochet needle works great!!! (from an avid sewer) Thank you for your tutorial. Love it!!

    Where do you add embroidery to a bag with a zipper, or a tissue cover?

    I've seen both of your ITH zippered bag tutorials...
    I love them ...
    Have you ever made a tutorial with some embroidery included...?
    Is it not that complicated that it can be figured out without a tutorial...?
    (sigh)
    I love your ITH zippered bag designs...
    I'm simply curious about how I can incorporate the embroidery while I'm at it. . . (grin)
    Until that time. . .

      It's easy to do if you use software to merge a purchased design with a blank bag! I use Embrilliance Essentials, which can be purchased here: www.embrilliance.com/jamaffiliates/honeybeedlb

      Have you ever attempted to transform an image (jpg/tif) into an embroidery design...
      either using auto-digitize or manual-digitize...?
      I understand you're a designer, so you probably do much of your own creations from scratch...
      I was just curious if you have any opinions about auto- / manual-digitizing functions/software.
      I understand your Essentials package is not designed for digitizing...

      Thanks again. . . for sharing your skills and knowledge with us newbies...
      Until that time. . .

      Auto-digitizing will never get the results of a good experienced digitizer. Essentials is not made for digitizing, but StitchArtist from Embrilliance is affordable and powerful. www.embrilliance.com/jamaffiliates/honeybeedlb

      I've come to the conclusion that auto-digitizing is a good/so-so start...
      but, as you say, the final quality of the stitch-out will always benefit from an experienced digitizer...
      * * *
      I'm looking at the two finalists now... Embrilliance (StitchArtist) and the Hatch (Creator) ...
      Thank you very much for your enthusiasm, willingness to share your knowledge, and continued dedication to provide video assistance to all of us less experienced beginners. . .
      Until that time. . .

    Do you have to have your machine set to sewing machine to begin the zipper? I have never done in the hoop. I think my machine will not sew straight stitch in the hoop or I do not know how to set it. HELP??

    • @berebethe
      @berebethe 6 лет назад

      Bette Sledd if you have an embroidery machine with the hoop, it will read the program and will sew according to the digitised pattern. It should be able to read that and you need to follow the guidelines for your placements. Hope this helps.

    Would like to know more about seeing the zipper.

      Connie Chamberlain you lay it on the placement stitches, hit the go button and it is stitched down. Instructions are in the book that comes with the designs.
