I really like my Beaver. I have also the floats, and they work great. I'm not surprised you didn't bend or break the screws holding the wheels. You are flying on a wide open airfield with a hard surface. I fly on a tighter, smaller grass airfield. The tire screws got bent after about 5 flights and they broke after about 10 flights. The hard plastic tires are not working well, they transfer any impact direct to the screws holding the tires, and screws get bent where the thread starts on the shaft. It's best to replace the tires with the Dubro rubber tires. I like the 5.5" best, they absorb a lot, as small Dubos as the 4.0" will work.
I also had the rudder servo failing. The tailwheel is transfering all the torque direct into the servo and the plastic gears get caries (tooth loss). In your video your Beaver broke out to the left twice, once at the start and once at the landing. The lateral load on the tailwheel got direct transferred into the servo gear. There is no damper or spring between the tailwheel and the servo. As you mention in your review in the FMS website there's room for improvement. I'm not certain a servo with metal gear is the right thing. If the servo holds, then something else is getting damaged. I usually have springs between the rudder and the tailwheel to avoid damage on the rudder and the servo incase the tailwheel is experiencing high lateral loads. What makes things worse is the servo frame the tail servo is built in. It's easiest to replace the broken servo with an identical one from FMS, but WHERE to get the servo other than from the parts section in the FMS website. It's an analog servo with plastic gear, not the newest design, and I wonder how long FMS will still carry this servo. At the moment it's OUT OF STOCK, and no clue when it will be available again. Since there are no dimensions listed nor is there any alternative to the analog 17 gram servo mentioned in FMS's website I'm hope somebody here on youtube has done the research and can give an advice what replacement servo to use incase the rudder servo got damaged.

These FMS planes are good quality indeed. We would still like to represent FMS on our channel 😊

Wished I had the power to make that happen. First if not already, you might consider applying for the affiliate program, and become an affiliate, and post as many videos on your channel of your fms planes.
