Well the curvature is probably just a result of a limited render distance, and the stars and moon and shit is just the skybox, wouldnt be surprised if the skybox is just the game dev equivalent of a stock image

War Thunder, an arcade game: Uses true 3D global map with curvature of the earth modeled.
DCS, a hardcore sim: Doesn't
Lol true, meanwhile DCS has some illusions that makes it looks like it curves at extreme altitude lol.
Though to be fair, DCS' base engine is from 2003 so there's that.
DCS just takes place in a universe where the earth is flat
Not to mention WT has that atmosphere effect, and even the stars/moon.

Talking abt this just raised me a question what would happen if u place an object wayyy hotter than sun close to sun nothing ? Or would suns top layer get damaged or does sun just get heated up a bit more and nothing else will change ? I guess it just gets heated up

Set the temp to below freezing in RB. For some reason it completely breaks the physics engine and you start flying/glitching backwards all over the place

the part after the ":" is the port (has to do with networking) where the website is reachable (in case you are interested, the default for http is 80 and for https it's 443)
