Kyle, while you’re in Aussie land can you interview someone about the modification laws for street driving? What is allowed and what is prohibited. Like is it enforced throughout the country or is it municipality based? Is it strictly enforced? As an American we would definitely appreciate the insights and realize how lucky we are that vehicles like Leroy can cruise the streets. 😄
It would be interesting to see that and I'm Australian. The laws do differ a bit state to state AFAIK. I live in Victoria and modifying vehicles pretty much at all requires an engineers report to prove the mods are safe. None of the vehicles you see in these vids are legal. If they got pulled over they'd be fined and put off the road. If they were caught doing something naughty their cars could be impounded. Here is a line from Vic Roads vehicle modification regulations. "The catalytic convertor(s) must be retained in their original location and all exhaust gas must flow through the convertors at all times. Similarly any sensors positioned in the exhaust system as original equipment must be retained in their original locations." Exhaust extractors may only be fitted to vehicles without an engineer's report if the car was built before 1976 AND the extractor manufacturer can supply a certificate to prove the vehicle still complies with emission regulations. It's a joke, honestly the government here doesn't want us modifying cars at all. That's why we have to be smart about it.
@@johnwilson1794 yeah but they don't always adhere to that though, it's the same in qld for exhausts but I've never engineered any of my exhausts lol and never had an issue, but I'm in Vic still tryna get my head around their retarded laws 😂
Different laws by state. In S.A. a car model that never optionally had a turbo from new cannot be fitted aftermarket. Same for superchargers. But I can legally make a convertible from any car built before 1968 (lap sash seatbelt intro) in my backyard and it's not required to be inspected.
It makes me happy seeing them smiling while talking about what’s under the hood it’s really the little things in life I want to learn more so I can mod my car as well
Truck: commercial based vehicle. Ute: passenger car based vehicle, must be one piece body- no separate tray. First produced in Australia, known around the world but not necessarily by name.
158mph with no cage of course not. People working there are actually doing their jobs. It's only a matter of time before a moron wrecks with no cage in the United States and the track gets sued and then shut down over stupidity. I see many cars with nothing as far as safety equipment or cages and running 9s and faster. Fastest was 7.55 at 180+ just ridiculous.
Yeah you definitely need a cage at 140+ it's just stupid to try to get away with it you should be smart enough to realize that rule is for your own safety...

that lil red truck was superb👌. nicest truck ive ever seen. that thing is gonna run 6s.
The Aussies really know how to do things
Thanks for showing off the Repo, that Rotor Engine was so under estimated when i was a Teen, i can remember helping a Neighbor in Houston Texas, Rebuild a Single Rotor, with Turbo, when Turbo's wasn't cool and nobody knew how to, no Computer, but this guy seen something none of us could, i think of him, every time i see the Rotor Racers?
Not a Repo, It's a Datsun 1200 ute.
1st run, and pulls a 9.2 😂🤣😂🤣
That is fast!!
I had to look up that little red truck. Too cool and awesome build by far.
"Yaya stock ecu, yaya 1100hp, yaya turned it up a bit" why are these Australians so freaking friendly hahaba
Because we are chill. Thats why.LOL.
Thats the way we rockem in PR. perfect build 💪👍
I agree Kyle lil red was a bad dude👍
Kyle, while you’re in Aussie land can you interview someone about the modification laws for street driving? What is allowed and what is prohibited. Like is it enforced throughout the country or is it municipality based? Is it strictly enforced? As an American we would definitely appreciate the insights and realize how lucky we are that vehicles like Leroy can cruise the streets. 😄
He's not here anymore lol this was filmed about a month ago. I can give you some insight but ah later I gotta go to work 👍
It would be interesting to see that and I'm Australian.
Similarly any sensors positioned in the exhaust system as original equipment must be retained in their original locations."
Exhaust extractors may only be fitted to vehicles without an engineer's report if the car was built before 1976 AND the extractor manufacturer can supply a certificate to prove the vehicle still complies with emission regulations.
STRAIGHT SIX WITH A TURBO IS NOT TO BE FUCED WITH.. THE MOST BALANCE ENGINE EVER MADE.
They are impressive, but not the best. Blown big block v8 on alchohol is the true master of all
@@dookiebooger9967 how many blown v8's are at the top of any street class?
One of. Boxer 6, V12, to name the most common types.
Ive never been into drag, but these videos have been pretty entertaining

It makes me happy seeing them smiling while talking about what’s under the hood it’s really the little things in life I want to learn more so I can mod my car as well

Franks Ute is insane. The amount of work put into it.... DANG! GJ Frank!
Love how people are calling it a truck lol. It's a Datsun 1200 ute.
Truck = states, Ute = down under.
Truck: commercial based vehicle. Ute: passenger car based vehicle, must be one piece body- no separate tray. First produced in Australia, known around the world but not necessarily by name.
Its a Mazda, by the way.
@@rossbrumby1957 It's a 1200 Ute, it's just got a rotary badge on the grille.
@@rossbrumby1957 It's a Datto man. I built four of them from ute, sedan and coupe plus a 1000 coupe.
That red truck is godly!
4:50 those guys in the back are gonna need neckbraces
Always love seeing a Holden.
I don't think anyone was complaining

Puerto Ricans sure like their Rotarys!
He went to Puerto Rico and made a video but the only rotary in the video was an almost stock RX-7 :\
They didn't bring the rotaries to that event. He was even surprised there was a rotary car there, lol.
Man I live in Puerto Rico the only thing u see in events are rotorys so u can’t tell me there arentthat many just because they didn’t go to the event
