I can picture a mindless cyberzombie in the first half of the arc, lashing about like a unnaturally quick feral animal on a kind of sensor autopilot, and then a bullet denting off it's skull in the second half jogs something in it's brain back online. What little is left of the man inside is aware now. He remembers his purpose now- and his full array of capabilities. A perfect complement to the original thematics of the fight.
This gives me hard flashbacks to a comment i read under the original version's, went something like "when i fall down in the nightclub and i see my glowstick beside me"
Yo just so you know this absolutely slaps. 3:48 really captures the energy of the original, which is a huge achievement considering it's now one of the most iconic moments in the franchise

Ludwig's theme is my absolute favorite of all the souls games and I can't tell you how much of a treat this was. I hope you have as much fun making these as we have listening, no pressure, alright? That being said, if you ever do DS3 sometime, the Abyss Watchers' theme is what I'll be looking forward to.

11/10, such a perfect translation of baroque/gothic choral and orchestral music to something darkly technological while nodding to its original operatic tone. Not to mention, the transition into the second verse holds a bloody hammer over my head and bludgeons me with it throughout the rest of the song. Beautifully done!

I'm mad that I can't hit "like" more than once. Love the energy and transition from the first phase to the second, very close to the original (and in some aspects even better). Love it!
