  • Chaos on the way home at Belgrave Middleway under the Bristol Road in Birmingham. Audi A3 (?) on opposite side of the road in left lane with what appears to be rear damage, another car behind it with the entire front crushed.
Just behind that in the right lane is a DPD van that looks to have had it's rear hit by the car behind it, causing only a small gap for one vehicle to squeeze through at time - no idea why the van, and maybe even the car, can't move to the left lane to allow traffic through ...
On the side of the road I'm driving on, in the same spot, are two vehicles pushed up against the left wall blocking most of the left lane. Traffic was only backed up to the turnoff just before this spot when I went through, according to Google Maps traffic is now backed up over Five Ways and down the ring road to the edge of the Jewellery quarter in the direction I was travelling, and on the other side all the way up to the roundabout where Currys is and beyond.
This underpass is a 40mph speed limit dual carriageway with no central barrier. There are often vehicles speeding through here even during rush hour traffic, weaving in and out traffic, and in 2017 was the scene of a serious head on crash that resulted in multiple deaths due to an idiot Audi S3 driver racing down this road at 100mph.
Ignore the date and time on the video, the dashcam often resets, this was recorded today at before 5:18pm. Audio removed to avoid copyright issues due to having the radio on.
