Thanks for this video. I have a 17 year old Bosch Classixx 1400 machine. I replaced the rubber door seal and element in it last year, motor bushes a few years before that. A couple of weeks ago it started with the 1 minute error where basically it kept washing for a couple of hours on end. Performed the element and thermometer test and confirmed both were fine. Watched loads of videos including some of yours. Watched this PCB repair one and decided for one last throw of the dice I would have a look. Found the very same things as you. A blackened area and a pin that the solder was completely burned off (different component to yours, linked to heating obviously as even though element was fine it was not heating). Soldered the pin back on (not much experience soldering BTW). Put it all back together ... running like a dream. Always admire people who take the time to share these things because I am always under too much pressure to just fix. Many thanks... 17 years, not out !!!! I would disagree with the comments about Bosch below.
Hi John, I very occasionally get a comment like yours. I appreciate it. Thanks. Owen
Just what I needed to confirm a suspicion because to see the machine stripped down was great. A repair man came to mend my same machine which was working but not pumping water out. He didn’t unplug the electricity and during his ‘repair’ there was a loud bang. He said there was a hole in the drum which leaked in the circuit board and no point in looking at the water pump. Now my machine is more dead than before he came.
Those things that failed look like diodes, those can short. The switch with a charred solder joint looks like a relay that controls something like a solenoid or motor (those are usually high voltage devices). You could have investigated further, maybe figure out what the relay was controlling.
It isn’t really worth it. And at the time I didn’t know much about electronics. I am learning more and have posted videos more recently of replacing triacs, relays. Etc etc.
Had a Maxiiss 6 with apparent worn brushes so swapped them out, matched them up and nothing.
Pulled the PCB out an an entire copper trace about 10" long has been blown from the board!
Also had the exact same charring around those two black components like yours. Think there's a cap and a winding on the other side.
I think that you will get more use out of it by keeping it for spares. On the other hand I bet it would put up a good fight against a brick
Thank you for the video! Great work!
Thanks buddy
Please fill the machine with water with the door shut and spin it up super fast it would be so cool
There’s an idea. Completely full of water. Could be fun.
would have liked to have seen what kind of screws were in the control panel and the removal thereof...
I show this in many other videos, have a search.
Do you know PCB IC code on bosch 8kg?
Try to put the machine ontop of another washing machine and then destroy both of them at the same time
You need to replace the two burnt black components. They are 1ohm 10watt resistors. Then it will work fine. They are current limiting resistors that have blown to protect the circuit.
how do you replace them?
Sir please tell me that pcb cost
Reset keaise hoti hh
Dont destroy it!
Greetings, please i need a power I.C no for PCB board for HW60-1279 1004321053 Thermocool front load
Bosch sux dont be their products
