Been using your products for a lot of years now. It is really good to see different videos on various products. I will continue to use these products as I have not found any thing as good. The use of Burnt Grass at the club I go to has improved a lot of the grass and tree areas. Thanks.
Another great woodland scenic product saw this at my local hobby store yesterday. Now I don't have to work about painting the inside I can just buy this and brush it on after exterior painting.
Woodland Scenics, thanks for your replay to my complain that your videos were unsuitable for hearing impaired people like me! I had never thought to look for the "CC" logo, because most video publishers don't bother with it. But leave it to Woodland Scenics to go the extra step. A good, honorable business thinks of thinks like that! And besides, old geeks like me, bad hearing and all, do model railroading, don't we! Thank you again for your reply!
Wilmot Fink Hello Wilmot...you are very welcome! And you can thank RUclips and Google for making the option available and providing the tools to make the videos accessible to the hearing impaired. If you have a question about a 'questionable caption,' just let us know, and we'll be happy to clarify it for you. Happy video viewing and Happy Modeling!!
About next week my package will arrive, it's a flames of war open fire starter set and these will be my first miniatures, I'm thinking of making my own custom game board using your products, any suggestions you can give me on what kinds of things to use? I'm thinking a rural german farm on the country side with hills, trees, and wildflowers. Since this is my first one I will do I'm not expecting much but I would like it to come out good. A local hobby store has some of your products I might need but not alot so I might need to order online. Thanks
To make the hills we suggest using Shape Sheet (C1178, C1179) and Shaper Sheet Plaster (C1180). Shaper Sheet is a revolutionary material that can be shaped and reshaped to form terrain with any level of detail. When covered in Shaper Sheet Plaster, it becomes a very durable surface that will support heavy game play. For your trees, a suggestion would be to look at Ready Made Trees Value Pack (TR1570-TR1572), Forest Canopy Tree Kits (F1660, F1661, F1662, and F1663) and/or the Hardwood Forest Kit TK28. To create your wildflowers, you could use our Pollen (T4641-T4649), Flowering Foliage (F176, F177), and/or Flowers (T48). Hope this helps, and Happy Modeling!
I have structures that are already built and I can't get my hand in there when I turn it upside down. I'm ready to trash them and start over, using this method as the structure is being assembled. What is your take on this, Woodland Scenics? Thanks!

Asher Bar-Yadin Hello! If the bottle is sealed well and not exposed to adverse temperatures (it is not freeze/thaw stable), then yes, it will last in the bottle for a while. Hope this helps!
+5dmc1 Sorry but we are not familiar with plastidip. The Masking Paint is applied with a brush to corners, joints and walls. Masking Paint is water-based and peelable if applied to a wrong area. Ribbon Putty is applied and pressed into gaps that are too large for Masking Paint to be applied.
Great. I am serious hearing impaired. What good are videos like these if you can't hear and understand the voice? How about some printed words for people who can't hear well?????
Wilmot Fink Hello Wilmot! Our videos provide a "closed caption" icon (CC) located on the bottom right-hand side of the video. Selecting this icon provides printed words at the bottom center of the video screen. RUclips provides this service for those who want to participate. While the captioned translation is not perfect at times, it should hopefully provide you with the necessary context for understanding the video. Hope this is helpful, and thanks for your interest!

Is the masking paint essentially black acrylic?
Hello! Thank you for your question. The paint contains different components to help block the light.
@@ModelSceneryExpert which components would they be?

Will the paint dry up in the bottle or will it last for a while

+Woodland Scenics thank you I was afraid that I would have to use it fast and cover as much space as possible thanks for looking at my comment!
