*Small detail:* Johnny (Depp) looks like he’s playing a Gibson Explorer (guitar), but he’s not. It’s actually a 70s Ibanez Destroyer, before Ibanez changed the shape of the guitar to the one they still sell to this day. The guitar looks identical to the Korina explorers, which haven’t significantly changed in design since 1958, hence why Ibanez had to change the shape around ‘81. Because of legal reasons. You can see the Ibanez logo which was designed to emulate the Gibson one of the time at 2:49 if you look closely at the headstock. Ibanez used this logo on all their Gibson copies during the time Johnny’s guitar was made. From what I know, the guitar must be at least 39 years old as of the time this video was uploaded in 2019, it could be several years older. Not that anybody really cares, but I know a thing or two about guitars. If I got anything wrong, please let me know.

I believe that music does heal the heart, & soul. It is one relationship, that you will use time, after time, after time1. You can cheat on music, & it never get jealous, 10, or 20, or 30 times a day, she'd never tell you. You wouldn't ,start throwing things, pots & pans, but, I'd never strike music. I'd never throw heavy silver candle holders, or anything made of lead gasses. I have respect for antiques. Ever since i was very drawn to them, when the sicko, I was forced to call daddy, was a nurse then, let's just say, I came out with PTSD, ADHD, CSA SURVIVOR, DV SURVIVOR, & IPV SURVIVOR. I have a lot of Mental Health Issues. I have HyperCapnia, (please Google it) osteoarthritis, bad enough, I should be getting knee replacements, but my Dr is afraid that I won't wake up, from it, because my health is so poor. 'Yay!' I had 2 strokes before I was 60. One, before I was 53. I have to go now. Maybe tomorrow...

Speaking of 'cast', he casts a spell on his most ardent fans that overlooks reason. As an actor, I like him just fine. As a guitar player, there is nothing special whatsoever. I've been at this for over 40 years, mostly self-taught too. I've got an electric in my lap at this moment. Any decent guitar player knows the real deal about his talent as a guitarist.

My sister and I knew him in KY when we were young girls. He was just as cute and played when I knew him. He's 2 years older than me and 1 year older than my sister. My grandparents lived in KY and I only saw him a couple times in one year (school vacas-summer), then he was gone. But, he's been playing longer than most naysayers have been alive.

Johnny (Depp) looks like he’s playing a Gibson Explorer (guitar), but he’s not. It’s actually a 70s Ibanez Destroyer, before Ibanez changed the shape of the guitar to the one they still sell to this day. The guitar looks identical to the Korina explorers, which haven’t significantly changed in design since 1958, hence why Ibanez had to change the shape around ‘81. Because of legal reasons. You can see the Ibanez logo which was designed to emulate the Gibson one of the time at 2:49 if you look closely at the headstock. Ibanez used this logo on all their Gibson copies during the time Johnny’s guitar was made. From what I know, the guitar must be at least 39 years old as of the time this video was uploaded in 2019, it could be several years older. Not that anybody really cares, but I know a thing or two about guitars. If I got anything wrong, please let me know.
