You should be proud - that is such a great build and I get a glimpse of all the hard work and skill that you’ve put into it. I’d love to build one too. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.
Best one I have seen, bar none! More professional than ones I have seen for sale.
kev wen Thank you for the compliment.
Outstanding design. If I may suggested a possible answer to the cases wanting to fall forward and out of the top bid. Possibly tilting the complete machine back may stop them from falling forward.
outstanding work and features
Thanks
Very nice work. Looks more professional and definitely has more features than the commercial units. Likely would cost more as well.
Hi, I'm interest in building me one. Where can I get the schematics for this? Thanks.
Does it work with rimmed or tapered straight cases?
This case annealed is one of the better ones being showcased on you tube. I would definitely want to build one for myself. Have you thought about selling your plans and parts list?
Gatnos Not selling the plans..just goto the posted link and goto photo section and you will find the plans there. m.facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/?ref=bookmarks
Karwarth-Kustoms link is broken :-(
Very impressive work! I want to build one. Where did you source your parts from. I very much like the upgrades that you did. Awesome DIY Case Anneler, well done!
Excellent very neat job too.
Hi, I'm in the middle of building one of these, but I can't get hold of the black nylon wheel that transfers the brass from the hopper. I presume it's nylon? Could you give me the details you used in your internet search to find this type of item? Also, could you give me it's width, depth, and center hole diameter. I'm in the UK.
Thank-you in advance. J.
I don't suppose you make and sell these do you?
Where did you get the propane bottle holder?
Could you please do a video of how you cut the cake pans ?
Thought about selling this ? Also, if not do you have an up to date link on the design?
Excellent build. Would like to see any other info that you might be able to provide. Your FB is down.
I know you said you're not making these, but do you have any plans you would care to distribute. Rest assured I would be the end user and not produce to sell. This is a sweet annealer. You did a GREAT job!!
Rodney Greenway goto the photo section and you will find all the printsm.facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/?ref=bookmarks
This thing is nicer than the giraud. Wish i had your skill and patience.
Cobragt95 Thank you...
Looks like you had fun making a "better than the other guy's" annealer!
Very interested in the proximity switch and counter. Nice touch. Would you mind providing your wiring diagram? I found the sensor/counter on ebay for about $15.
I also like how all the controls and readouts are on the front panel. Sweet setup!
Phill Davis I believe I posted a video here on that m.facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/?ref=bookmarks
Thanks for pointing out the video and for putting it together. Very much appreciated!!
Phill Davis Thank you..I felt if I was sitting sitting at my reloading bench why would you put a readout on top you can't see..so that is why I choose to have them on the front.
Do you have another place for the elrctronics hookup video? All your links are gone...
Sledge Hammer second this
could you tell me the part number for the prox sensor and how it was wired, where you got the depont feeder role thank you for you help
Just search "NPN NO 4mm Detect Distance Inductive Sensor Proximity Switch" , none of the electronics are from the US, they come from overseas. How to wire it go here, I didn't post it on youtube facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/ . I got the plastic local but it can be bought online if you don't have a local plastics company. Look up Acetal Copolymer plastic round stock or Delrin ... I bought 5 3/4 dia but did a final machine of 2 1/2" dia.. it can be bought in 2 1/2" dia as well.
Very well done; thanks.
Karwath,
I like the proximity sensor for counting cartridges. Would you be willing to share how this is done? I am not good at electronics. I am also looking for a way to turn off and on, the cartridge feed motor thru a sensor at the ramp/pan location.
You could use the same style sensors they use on the Mr. Bulletfeeder
very nice build
Robert S Thank you
That's excellent machine
I have several questions, How did you find center of rotating drum (Cake Pan), how do you cut the drum height , where did you get the torch setup?
I use a starrett combination square with round stock/tube centering head to find center on the drum, note the drums are not the best in being round so you need to find a happy spot and go with it. for the height I used a sheet metal scriber to mark the height all the way around and used cut off wheel to cut it and air angle sander to clean up the edges. for the torch setup its a standard MagTorch MT200 from local store and fittings were bought online and gas hoses are custom made to the length I needed. the torch adjusting arm and torch holder I made or machined.
Who custom made the torch hose and what fittings do I need on the end
I really like the design and have incorporated some of your ideas in my annealer. One question, where did you get your propane bottle mount? Thanks!
Komelon Propane Torch Holder, they can be found online if no local hardware store has them.
Thanks, I appreciate the information !!!
Very nice
Excellent job, where did you source the motors?
Rob R All electronics can be bought from ebay
Very Nice!
where did you find the material to make the case feeder?
We have a local plastic supply company. But anything can be purchased online.. acetel/Delrin plastic is what I used..
Thanks, found some on Amazon.com
is your proximity switch a NPN NO or a PNP NO sensor
sorry meant NC
NPN NO Normally Open sensor ...PNP is more European. They run their current opposite direction then we do in the U.S.
If you need a video on wiring the counter facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/
Wow!
You should start selling them. Lol. I don’t have the skill to make them.
do you make these to sell?
Bob Keller Sorry, I do not. The cost wouldn't be cheap due to the labor hrs put into them that one wouldn't have to spend building it themselves
