My first reaction at the beginning of the video was yes to your right eye. From the swatches, I like CT more. The "transition" color on the upper left eye read way too orange on the video. You used three shades from the ABH palette on your upper right lid but the cooler tone and the darker outer V really set off the shimmer on your mobile lid. I'm a total eyeshadow junkie and use to do a lot of photography so things kinda jump out to me. In any case, I agree with your husband. I have several ABH palettes none of which work for me. Get well soon and have fun playing with eyeshadow!
Thank you, Nancy! The ABH does have more depth, but it takes a little more time to blend. I have a custom quad of single ABH shades (including Vermeer and Warm Taupe from Modern Renaissance) that I used to reach for quite often for quick workday looks. Hope you've been well!
Im not a fan of either brand. CT is overpriced for such cheap packaging, and Im always allergic to a couple of the ABH formula eyeshadows. I'd definitely prefer ABH though regardless.
