the way I started it...I was poor so I couldn't afford a drum kit so for years I just ended up a if drumming...I simulated a drum in my head and just started banging the air and when I finally got a drum kit it took a while to get used to it like 15 min and afterwards I was rocking
Vil Samom Yeah man, most of it is in the head and figuring out how to use your body and limbs correctly :) If you can do it in your head you can play it!
That’s cool but I don’t understand 2:59 how in the audio there is clearly a run down of Tom 1 and Tom 2 Fill and you clearly do not do that in the video. Where otherwise the reference drum track audio does coincide with your playing, at that moment it doesn’t..
Oh! You can't see it well and since this was recorded on absolute spaghetti hardware the kicks and toms sound too similar, but it's a mix between toms and kicks. I learned playing by watching Mike Portnoy so I used to do lots of his fills :D
