    Thank you Cat, I’ll be able to make cuffs now, haven’t made them before after 20 yrs creating. How to finish matt without a polishing wheel. Do have a Foredom pendant drill with attachments tho. Ive never perfected it. Your videos are excellent.

    Another really informative video which has encouraged me to purchase a mitre jig and try this. Thank you.

    Thank you so very much for the lesson! I’d really like to see in more detail the last bracelet of the three displayed at the end. I can’t tell from the image nor your commentary whether another piece of silver is woven in or whether the effect is from the method of attaching the flaps to the center member…Thankee!

    Hey Pat, thank you for the great video. I want to make my wife the bracelet at the end of the video, the satin finish one with the crossover. Could you show us how you did the crossover weave on that one? Thank You

      The length depends on the wrist size for a 7 inch 17.8 cm wrist I use 6 inches15.25 cm of silver sheet and a one inch gap. The width the blanks for these cuffs are 1 inch 2.5 cm but they can be a bit wider if you prefer.

      Oh, I forgot to ask.. Ist a sheetmetal 0,6 mm thick enough for the woven cuff? I thougt, if the parts are crossing may be ist enough. Otherwise I have to order a thicker sheet🙃

    For a hammered finish would you polish and hammer before drilling holes and installing the rivets?

    • @patcahillmetalworks322
      @patcahillmetalworks322  4 года назад +1

      Yes that would be the best way to do it. You might have to touch up the hammered surface in the end with a little addition hammering and further polishing or tumbling, but staring with the hammered surface would be easier in the long run.

    Nice work and design, but aren't gloves a no no when using a polisher as your hands can get pulled into the buff. What about using finger cots that can slip off your fingers before they're mauled?

    • @patcahillmetalworks322
      @patcahillmetalworks322  3 года назад +1

      Gloves are fine unless they are flapping around or too large for you. It is loose hair or clothing or polishing chains or not using the correct portion of the buff. Oh lots of things can happen on the buffing wheel one always needs to be careful and pay attention.
