Another great tutorial Kevin and looking forward to the official release. Something I would like to see a way of reversing the order of the grid elements in smaller screens (like the reverse column order in oxygen columns). Don't know if it's possible 😁
I think in the current version, for the auto-staggered- grid, you changed classes. you have added (-auto-) to staggered classes, so (grid--1-3) became (grid-auto-1-3).
All those templates use manual styling, so you'd have to undo a lot of stuff to do them right. I don't recommend using them. I also don't recommend using design sets at all. Once you know how to use a system like Automatic.css, it's much faster to build from scratch and all your sites won't look the same. We are, however, planning on releasing basic section templates that are kind of like wireframe starting points to speed up workflow. You won't have to undo any styling to use them like you do with most design sets.
Bootstrap grid isn’t even a real grid. And you have to understand how the entire automatic system works to understand how this fits perfectly in with all other spacing and sizing classes and user defined variables, viewport calcs, etc.

You can't with Grid automatically. If you want to ensure there's no gaps, you'll want to use a manual grid to control the breakpoints or use Flexbox.

The plugin uses different classes for auto grids, so read the user guide before implementing techniques in this video
