The Caucasus Pt 4 - Armenia

Following on from Azerbaijan and Georgia, Armenia was the last of the three Caucasus countries that we were to visit. Once over the border we went straight to Gyumri, Armenia's second largest city. From there we headed for the capital, Yerevan, stopping at the ancient ruins at Zvartnots. After spending some time in and around Yerevan, we visited the Pagan Temple at Garni, the 'deep dungeon' at Khor Virap (with Mount Ararat in the background) and the Noravank monastery. Finally we took in the huge Lake Sevan and the quaint tourist village of Dilijan.
