When planning your shot or about to start production, do a shot liar where you think about the following things:
    The shot size
    The shot type
    The camera movement/angle.
    The equipment you'll be using
    The lens of your camera
    Frame rate
    Camera number: e.g. cam a, cam b.
Shot numbers, shot 1, shot 2 etc.
Other addtionals as well. Usually on a traditional shot list.
    The location
    Duration of the shot
    Description of the shot

One of my favorite shots of Chiaroscuro is when Batman played by Michael Keaton in the 1989 movie steps from the dark and into the light and you see Batman eyes and face in all it's glory for the first time, to me that's one of the most iconic shots in cinema.

This is a suggestion for you. I don't know if you have already watched but could you check out the movies of Indian film maker Lijo Jose Pellissery? Recently his film Jalikattu was selected as India's official entry into the Oscars but couldn't land in the shortlist even though I think it deserves a spot. I think the main problem was that most of the international audience still haven't found out this maverick director's movies which I think deserves a spot among the prestigious movies released every year. Each of his films represent a different genre such as Nayakan(Gangster Drama), City of god(Thriller), Amen(Comedy), Double Barrel(Comedy/Gangster Spoof), Angamaly Diaries(Crime Drama), Ee.Ma.You(Dark Comedy) and Jalikattu(Can't specify the genre cause it can't be shackled in a specific genre. I would be very happy if more youtube channels and international audience like you guys would give attention to this film maker as I think his movies deserves a seperate place in the history of Indian cinema. He is frequently known for his use of Single Takes, Violence, Non Linear story lines and heavy themes. If you have alreay seen his movies, let me know what you thought about it. And maybe you could do a video about him sometime.😊

Caravaggio was master of tenebrism. It's different from chiaroscuro. The former is more dramatic in contrast with background and foreground separation. Secondly, the lit part is also noticeable in contrast with chiaroscuro element in it.

Because Italy is THE country when it comes to art. This is the place where most cultural and artistic movements started, and by far the country with the biggest number of great artists given to the world.
Especially when it comes to painting, architecture and sculpture.
