Thank you for sharing the video. Yesterday I followed my GPS to Mid valley Southkey after clearing the malaysia custom the GPS asked me to keep right at the confusing junctions. I ended up making two right turns and ended up at the Malaysia custom again. I sought help from the officer at the booth to allow me to make a U- turn. He led me to the office and said only his boss can decide if I can turn back to JB. Upon entering the office, the higher ranking officer said only Malaysian can turn back. Singaporean need to go back Singapore custom and repeat the custom clearance on both sides again. So I visited Malaysian twice over a span of 1 hr. Fortunately it was noon time and the traffic wasn’t heavy.😂

For Mid Valley, once u exit immigration and going up the first slope, you should be taking the most left exit ie towards KL direction. The signboard is green in colour. Refer to the 8 minute marker of the video.

Once you are out of JB custom and heading up the slope, at the first overhead gantry board, take the right lane. After take the left most lane towards JB Sentral.
Alternatively, you can take the slip Road after the Shell Station and turn left towards down town (Pusat Bandaraya)

Never ever keep right after the first fork and make a wrong turn. This will bring you to lorry lane that is leading you back to Singapore. Once I made a wrong turn, I had to offer coffee money of $50 to JB traffic cop to lead me back to JB. Multiple forks after JB customs will drive you nuts.

Hi bro. I got a few questions hope u can help.
    1) Is it every petrol station u will need to tell the counter how much to fuel first? Like for eg. Pump no.1 , ron97, 100rm?
2)What if you pump lesser than you paid beforehand? They will refund u? Or u realised u need more gas?
    3) if u paid for example 100rm beforehand then they will cut off the gas once reach 100rm?

    • @angcheekeong
      @angcheekeong  Год назад +1

      1. For most Kiosks in JB area, just signal to the cashier, they will activate the pump for you and pay later. You may pump any amount.
      2. Those stations further away from JB especially in the ulu area, you have to place a deposit either cash or credit card. For cash your pump is limited to the amount of deposit.
      3. Yes.
If you use credit card or Youtrip at the Pump, they will charge you RM200 as a deposit, after pumping, a few hours or a day later, they will adjust back the difference.
Pls be reminded SG registered vehicles are not allowed to pump RON95.

For most kiosks in JB city centre area you can pump and pay later. Just signal to the counter and they will activate the pump. Else you can use your credit card and activate at the pump directly.

Some enquiries for those first timers or for those who don’t usually drive to JB.
What if we don’t have Touch N Go card or insufficient value. Will there be alternatives to pay by cash?

    • @angcheekeong

No there's no way to top up. Most people try to borrow from the car behind if their card is low value. You can purchase the Touch and Go card from Shoppee.
