In this video you will found how to install and configure outlook 2013/2016 and how to allow less secure app on Gmail to access mails on outlook to fix up pop up for asking user id and password.
Note-
You have to enable Allow less secure app setting on your Gmail account first to configure Gmail on Outlook 2013/2016. Apart from this POP/IMAP settings should be enabled from your gmail account settings.

I realized after going through a lot of digging that my issue was a very simple fix. I just needed to change my Google security settings to Allow Less Secure Apps - ON. I believe I made the change to make it more secure about a month ago and did not connect my Outlook issue to this security change. Thanks for creating this video it was the final solution to my issue.
