Randy, don't you know how to use the production total charts on GEC's site yet? It's really easy, with a little practice. Ya have to use the tang stamp on your knife & know what the handle material is called. It's usually on the shipping tube plug. So I went & took a look for ya. That knife is either "Soup Bone" handles, or "Inside Out Saw Cut Bone". I tend to believe it's the latter. They didn't make any of the 15's with "Primitive Bone". Not even the Tom's Choice Barlows. Some were "smooth ivory bone", but not with that particular knife with the single clip blade. According to GEC's chart, they only made 10 of the single clip blade with "Inside Out Sawcut Bone" and only 6 in the "Soup Bone". But here's the kicker, that knife is a factory "2nd".......because of the "2" on the blade. GEC doesn't count or list factory 2nd's in their production totals. ALSO: It's not a serial number, because they didn't serialize ANY of the 15's. Either way, ya have a very rare knife. Often, ya can't even tell "WHY" they marked them as a "factory 2nd". The liners AND BOLSTERS on all of the TC Barlows ( SFO's for Charlie Campagna ) are made of "mild steel"......NOT stainless or nickle silver. Trust me. They used the mild steel, so that the entire knife, liners, bolsters & all, will patina just like the blade..........just like the Barlow's from the 1800's & early 1900's. Don't let anybody tell you those bolsters are nickle silver. They can rust, but if you take care of it, they will patina & help protect from rust, much like the patina on the blade. CONGRATS on finding those! I missed on those runs, but got several from the other TC's.............LOVE 'EM!!!

The TC with the saw cut handle is what I believe is called Old Tan saw cut bone. I've got a Northfield #77 Yankee Barlow ordered from CollectorKnives.net with that handle material and keep coming back to this video just to imagine what mine is going to look like.
A rip off copy of the 1890's BOY's knife from a guy named Barlow who made the famous English Sheffield knife. It's not an American invention! Has nothing to do with them! They even banned the sale of these knives more than 100 years ago! It's a cheap and simple little kids knife. All these knives from great eastern cutlery are straight up copies of the Sheffield England knives from the book called Sheffield English knives. You're just being robbed guys! The mans knife was and still is the Bowie. Which is a fighting knife, as explained in the book about the real knife from England.
