Thank you for another great review. I think I’ll stick with my super vinyl mofi.

The Super Vinyl 33rpm sounds great. I thought about the One Step but I believe it would destroy the flow of the album on 2 lps.

I'm so glad you made this video. I have been wondering if there is that much of a difference between the One Steps and the other releases. They just pressed more of the Bitches Brew regular 33 rpm records and it's significantly less money than the One Step that will be out. I have been wondering if there will be that much difference. I have Eldorado on Super Vinyl so I didn't order the One Step. I was curious if there was a big difference. Thanks for letting us know your opinion. Take care.

The Bitches Brew regular vinyl Mofi sounds great. It will be interesting to see if there will be a big difference between the One Step and regular of that. The One Step will have the SuperVinyl that the standard release won’t have so that we know for sure. It will be interesting to see if they master it with different engineers like they did with Pearl.
Thanks for watching and take care!
BTW it looks like the first Van Halen One Steps may be hitting in Summer!!

I have the Supervinyl and it sounds great and I don't listen to it a ton, but when I do I enjoy it. I am fighting that urge to have another 1-Step on my shelf but I think I will hold off on the upgrade. I have 4 1S's on pre-order as it is so that should do me for now!

I heard Eldorado is going to be getting a Texas two-step! (LOL) I couldn't resist.

Thanks for the review. Honestly though I wonder how much of the difference would be kind of a placebo effect? If you didn’t know which one was which then you probably might not be able to detect a difference. It’s probably cut from the exact same DSD file and is probably why it sounds more or less identical.

I have no doubt they were cut from the same file. I am pretty sure the Pearl 45 RPM and One Step probably were too but they sound different because Rob worked on one and Shawn worked on the other. They have different mastering styles and you could hear it on that for sure. Shawn and Krieg both worked on these two.
