I don't mean this is a deconstructive way, really I don't, but the last few songs haven't really been on the same level as the vast majority of Animadrop's songs. They haven't been bad, but they just feel like run of the mill songs of this genre, and not like the epic songs that strike a chord somewhere deep inside us, like most of Animadrop's songs. I'm not a musician, so I don't know how else to describe what I'm trying to communicate here, but they last few songs just haven't had that "secret sauce" that we've become accustomed to, and perhaps we've become spoiled by it. Honestly, I don't know how 1 person managed to already create so many amazing songs in just a few years, so can't really complain. Keep at it, and hopefully you'll rediscover that secret sauce again!
The last few songs released have been some of my absolute favorites I have ever made. If they don't hit your taste like other songs of mine did that is perfectly normal and I don't think I have a musician either where I totally feel every song they made. But to tell me I have lost something just feels weird, I make music because I love it and I will make what I feel like making.
@@Animadrop Yeah, I think these songs are great! They remind me of spells, as if musicians were spellcasters. This song might be the spell for creating a self-replicating fractal structure that draws from its environment to expand, and when the song reaches a quieter pitch, that is when the expansion slows and it absorbs more energy. And this sort of music-based magic applies to your other songs as well: Scattered Files, for instance, might be a black hole spell. You activate it and it creates a steadily growing black hole. Not sure I care for the last part before the outro either. While maybe a few bars of that intense bass adds a nice heaviness to the song, I feel it's a bit over-done to the point of it being too much for too long. Again, the song is "The Endless Pattern." With this title I actually don't know if you are referring to the endless and sometimes monotonous lives we live, or if you are referring to the song itself, as both really do have and endless pattern. I won't give it a thumbs up, but I wont give it a dislike either.
