Dreamcatcher announced in November of 2022 that they all had renewed their contract ahead of time (I don't think it was specified how long but I've seen people suggest it's for 3 to 5 years).

There's a thing in kpop known as "The 7 year curse". Somewhere around the 7 year mark a lot of groups just fell apart because they have either played out their popularity, failed to adapt to changes in the industry, tried to over compensate for the changes, simply lost the drive to be idols or for several other reasons.
Also, 7 years has become the standard contract length for a lot of companies. When the contracts run out members, or even entire groups, don't re-new their contract. Many either set out on their own, sign with a different company or take the opportunity to retire and move on with their lives.

True, but Dreamcatcher as a 7 member group has been active for 7 years.
I'm also talking about kpop groups in general, not just Dreamcatcher.

There's a lot of "opinions" out there about Siyeon being an underwhelming vocalist and I have no idea what those people are on that's capable of warping their sense of reality so greatly. She is a phenomenal vocalist with great agility, power, and range and she always makes it look effortless. I, too, am offended by this video that you watched, lol.

I think Yoohyeon is already preparing for the next EU tour and in this case specifically Paris. I got the information today that my ticket for the concert in Germany is on it's way (bought last week in the first 2 minutes after opening the website). 😉
Crazy concert days ahead (2x Rolling Quartz [couldn't resist 🤣] and 1x Everglow within 6 days + 2,5 weeks later "again" Dreamcatcher).
Anyone here from Europe still thinking about going or not? I highly suggest to get the ticket (even though it's getting pretty expensive). It will be great!
