Dear doctor, you did an amazing job on this one. The main character's story feels very real, it actually hits pretty close to home, the animation is amazing and your voice is as soothing as always. I'm so happy to see your channel and community grow, I've been watching you for almost as long as two years. Don't ever change.
The tragedy of this vignette is that the main character’s lover and mother already seemed invested in forming a meaningful relationship with him. His mood was just so sour, he was convinced to make the wish to the Fly. In other words, this wish was never necessary. The main character, the sad fool, made a wish that would doom a future he could have had in the first place.

Considering the evidence that this being was around during the time of ancient Canaan, it could be possible that this fly could be the demon Beelzebub, which is associated with the Canaanite god, Ba'al.
With its seemingly limitless powers, I wonder what would happen if one asked for complete immortality. Sure you will still end up with the maggot outbreak, but afterwards you should be okay.
For a moment I thought I could eat watching this one. Then, the maggots scene. Then a fly came flying in my room. Then I saw something black and white hanging onto my window and I actually found maggots and hatched insects. Dr Bob has a grip on reality
Man, this was a good one. Definitely one that took a turn for the more serious. Just like the burning bull statue (sorry, forgot the SCP name). Always gotta watch for your videos and see them the day they come out Dr. Bob!
if the scientists had prior knowledge to 3063 why not wish for invincibility , that way they wont die and can do further research. Also if the fly can grant any wish then the fly is the answer to terminate all keter class scp's in containment . A truly powerful scp indeed.
I never really thought about how hard my depression hit throughout high school and college until I realized how much I related to all this that the character has gone through. Straight down to the bad relationship with my mom (which has thankfully been healed). That's the hardest part about it is that you never really notice how bad it is until it's already well into tearing your life apart.
I think it’s like a deal with Beelzebub because Beelzebub is a demon with an embodiment of a fly who makes deals with desperate people and it catching fire means that this prince of darkness could seek others out for a deal to be suffering a fate worse then death then after catching on fire it moves on to his new target and since there are more likely millions this scp can choose it make since it could be based on the idea of Beelzebub like if you agree on this scp
He kind of is. He perceives himself to be an immortal, superheroically skillful research analist. Therefore he is. I still feel like he's the reality warper discussed in SCP 1451 with the underwater statues. Makes the most sense. This animation is Amazing I have never seen something so movie feeling and scary and its my favorite Fandom thank you for making this the intro was so GOOD
I think I found a loop hole. Wish for what you want and then tack on at the end "and a second instance of me with my exact body and a shared consciousness with me that will be the only one to have the flies grow in them and that our minds will separate when it happens." Considering the evidence that this being was around during the time of ancient Canaan, it could be possible that this fly could be the demon Beelzebub, which is associated with the Canaanite god, Ba'al.
Fly: "What do you want most it-"
Me: "Ew, a fly."
*SMACK*
Feels a little generous to call the faustian bargain fly a *therapist*
With its seemingly limitless powers, I wonder what would happen if one asked for complete immortality.
Sure you will still end up with the maggot outbreak, but afterwards you should be okay.
What if you end up in a continuous, endless cycle of being eaten by maggots?
What if you ask for regenerative immortality like Connor from Confinement?
Maybe you’ll be permanently stuck with maggots growing inside you. Forced to live through that experience for eternity. Seems like a proper loop hole
Nurglite plague cultist xD
What if you ask for immunity to parasitic infections?
I love the buzzing around at the end, heard it through my head phones and waved my hands around my head.
For a moment I thought I could eat watching this one. Then, the maggots scene. Then a fly came flying in my room. Then I saw something black and white hanging onto my window and I actually found maggots and hatched insects. Dr Bob has a grip on reality
OH COME ON! I WAS LOVING THE STORY!
QAQ
Stupid fly!
Man, this was a good one. Definitely one that took a turn for the more serious. Just like the burning bull statue (sorry, forgot the SCP name). Always gotta watch for your videos and see them the day they come out Dr. Bob!
The liars cradle is the bull statue of the god moloch
if the scientists had prior knowledge to 3063 why not wish for invincibility , that way they wont die and can do further research. Also if the fly can grant any wish then the fly is the answer to terminate all keter class scp's in containment . A truly powerful scp indeed.
Isn't 3063 Keter itself?
It might be an "everything except for the maggots" wish, where after the time limit is up the invulnerability ends.
You may be invincible but you'll still have maggots eating your organs for all eternity
@@michaelreid8889 I mean they would eventually grow up then you only have the several severely damaged organs to deal with
he will invincible for 2376 days
His voice at the start though, I got chill like for real
the fact that the blue eyed guy was interested in him to begin with 😭😭😭
Damn that would make a interesting love story tho
I mean the dude is probably not straight so
And?
There was a saying that go “ Happiness comes with a price. Nothing is free in this world except air”.
I never really thought about how hard my depression hit throughout high school and college until I realized how much I related to all this that the character has gone through. Straight down to the bad relationship with my mom (which has thankfully been healed). That's the hardest part about it is that you never really notice how bad it is until it's already well into tearing your life apart.
this intro is so epic. this seems like the start of an SCP movie!
Ah I remember this scp. One of the rare times i know one when dr Bob covers it. Absolutely horrifying.
The poor guy just wanted to be happy. That fly is a bit of a jerk, if I think so.
Helluva intro, Dr. Bob. One of the best vids you've done in a long time.
Sounds like scp-3063 is like bargaining with the devil.
Well, 2376 days is 6 years, 6 months, 6 days. Not to mention the fly itself seems to be related to Beelzebub, the Lord of the Flies.
I like the way this was written. I just KNEW that fly was up to no good!
But, with the difficulty in containing this, why isn't it Keter class??? 🤔
It is Keter class, I checked the article
ngl, it got me in the first half
This story was so heart warming but then that twist was horrible!! But amazing!
Your pace of story telling is captivating as always 🥰
Fly: What Do You Want?
Dr Bob:(Swats The Fly Out Of Non-existence) I am a greater reality warper than you.
He kind of is. He perceives himself to be an immortal, superheroically skillful research analist. Therefore he is. I still feel like he's the reality warper discussed in SCP 1451 with the underwater statues. Makes the most sense. People pay too much attention to his 0-5 level access in the video which I think is a distraction from the truth. Sneaky.
@@gmork1090 hes yet unclassified scp
Dr. Bob just keeps getting better and better.
The fly: I finally am a therapist!
I have 5 rescue dogs, so I'm pretty happy. Dont need much else in life.
Man, the commenters aren't kidding when they say your animation is improving
This animation is Amazing I have never seen something so movie feeling and scary and its my favorite Fandom thank you for making this the intro was so GOOD
I think I found a loop hole. Wish for what you want and then tack on at the end "and a second instance of me with my exact body and a shared consciousness with me that will be the only one to have the flies grow in them and that our minds will separate when it happens." It's a mouth full but you'll get what you want and get to enjoy it while still letting the scp carry out its goal
Both your minds will split in half.
No... this intro was just on a next level.
Words could not describe how impresse your work is.
This story was actually pretty sad, like I hardly get sad when watching Dr Bob’s stories, but this one somehow got me really sad
I don't even like normal therapists.
This one, he just...
Bugs me...
😎 YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................
👀
It's Beelzebub the old testament devil grantor of lusts and gluttony (overindulgce) ending in the pain of death sin offers.
I love how 99% of this guy's videos are the story and 1% is the SCP
Great job on the Fly Therapist voice! This is a great video
This is wholesome, sad, scary at the same time 💯👌
Another great vid, part of me wants to see SCP 3660 The Zoo Zipper get a moment in the light
This wasnt as Bad as 149, sure maggots Are disgusting and it is grue death But when you Are completely covered on 149, its like living Hell to die or live
And 3660 would Be cool too
Alright you convinced me I'm now officially part of the Dr bob squad 😁
if you have suicidal thoughts and big wishes, this fly is your man
The fact that this SCP can know what you want makes me think of the phrase "fly on the wall". Quite fitting. Also someone mentioned how the 2376 days might be linked to Beelzebub.
this makes me paranoid with flies, now I've locked myself in my room for hours until my uncle sanitized the whole house.
this is so well made.. 11:07 was so unexpected.
Was it? 😭 the blonde guy flirting with him felt so direct to me
I knew from their first interaction that something fruity is going on
I was literally so happy when I saw that
Really didn’t need to be there tbh. The wedding didn’t bother me, the make out stuff was cringe af.
Awhhh man! I kinda thought things were going a little bit too well for this dude! 💜🌍
Dr. Bob being an ally is just great.
Friendly? Hes good side of foundation, unlike some other ones...
He’s always been a great ally to the scp foundation! 😊
The beginning of the video was so much fun that I forgot I was on Dr.Bobs channel. He had me in the first half.
A truly heartbreaking story, Bob.
Binge watched all the episodes. Now.. I.. want.. more 😅
