It needs tires and brakes. And is 1k away from being over mileage. It sounds like she didn’t take care of the car. I’d be nervous and concerned about what she’s turning in.
It's always interesting to see that they want the payment to be lower for a newer car and more miles. Its called simple math... Would love to know how this came out.
Customers always want their new lease payment to be lower than what they are paying with less money down on a more expensive car. The math doesn’t math and sometimes you just have to take out a pen and paper, do the math step by step in front of them, and show them repeatedly why a new $60K car won’t be $350/month to lease with no money down and all taxes and fees rolled in. Most of the time they get the idea and start to understand.
Why would the condition of the trade in affect this guy’s wallet? … then I caught the “you know what I mean” 😂😂😂. Yeah man, I know exactly what you mean.
I believe North Olmsted Mercedes advertises their salespeople as being commission free. But, that is seldom entirely true. There has got to be a way in the pay plan in which holding gross is rewarded.
@@14Hrbeknot entirely.. My uncle changed the plan at his Audi store when he became a GM to all flats. Big flats depending which model is sold because of the direction he wanted to take the store. They ended up becoming a top 20 in the country store with his leadership. They have some sort of reward system. My original store I used to work at pays flats on cars and hourly now. Totally different than when I was there.. there are some markets where being paid on gross is becoming rare.
If your trying to haggle a lease payment you probably shouldn’t be driving a Benz.
The day it starts affecting the sales people wallets they will try harder.
Every deal affects our wallets
Wow - I would lose it if I handed a salesperson a printout on a deal and they immediately crumple up the paper…
and that makes you a knob!
He was pretty confident he had the deal wrapped up on the other car but still 😂
This person should be leasing a Honda Accord.
So glad we have a new video!
Just got back from NADA so back in the saddle!
The “buddy” lines are wild 🤣 the payments are even worse. Dear fod
This job isn't even about cars.
It’s just getting people out of holes

700+ a month to rent a car 10k miles a year wtf ?
Different things mean something different to different people
You can't even rent a minivan for $700/week! What are you talking about?😂
Its a 58000 msrp car and she has +4k in negative equity. How cheap do you expect the lease to be?
People might think she's not rich, so it's necessary.

This leasing thing is a bunch of BS. It’s like you rent an apartment but you can’t use it 24/7 for the duration of the contract.
It makes perfect sense to lease in the modern day. Plus if you have a LLC, there are tax benefits.
Leasing works if you like to flip cars, get a manufacturer that subsidizes rhe lease or are carrying negative equity.
it has a purpose. with pros and cons. You personally don't see the value. doesn't mean you're wrong. just might not be designed for you.
I leased to buy, back in 2020 worked out well for me.
Before you sign they explicitly ask and let me choose 12k or 15k a year driving.
You just need to be sure to contract for the correct miles. A good example would be renting a one bedroom when you need a 2 bedroom.

Notice how they assume the customer is an asshole which dealer was that I’ll never go there
Where are we assuming that?
I don’t think they were. I think they wanted to be very careful about the returning car’s condition, because that has a huge effect on the numbers.
I dont see asshole behavour. Problem is the woman should have bought a cheaper car like a civic not a 50k mercedes

Maybe they (Sales people) don't try as hard to ask all the questions because they make the same regardless of vehicle they sale.
not accurate
