I have this actually 2 of them due to warranty. Low and slow is out if the question with this thing. it cant get lower than 400 once that lid is closed. Due to the low lid and large 1 burner. Wish it had 2 burners. Also this is not a good travel grill it packs too big even for my suv. You can add 2 griddle plates(although not advised) and it works excellent as a full on griddle for smash burgers. Overall I think its good as a stationary grill not a travel one. But for the price you might be better off with a weber spirit.
@platinum9898 alone it can but not a car with a family and camping gear. Taking this thing was the item that took the most packing space in my suv. It's a stationary grill thts easy to move around and that's it. Weber go anywhere wins for compact size and portability. 2 of those take up less packing than halve the packing space of the traveler
I've owned this grill for 3 years. I've used it off and on for a total of 5 or 6 weeks, and only on camping trips. Since it was so horrendous to clean it's been primarily used to cook hot dogs and vegetables, and I've used charcoal to cook meats that left a lot of drippings. It looks to be in near new condition but it has quit working due to a faulty regulator. Weber does not want to cover this item past a 2 year warranty even though there is warranty remaining on other parts of the grill, and that this is an item that is known to be a problem with them. I purchased 4 Weber grills over a 2 year period and all of them have had issues. Three of the grills had issues right out of the box. I just completed a second warranty claim on my Weber Genesis II because the warming rack has rotted out, and I will be making a second claim on my Weber Performer because the metal table is covered in rust after only 1.5 years. A friend of mine has purchased 2 Napoleon grills last year and zero issues. I recommend a different manufacturer.
spraying those crates while the burners are on is incredibly stupid. You are more than lucky that the spraying can did not explode in your face. What the hell were you thinking?????? Those crates should have been sprayed with the burner being off.
After I heard him say medium well, all his cooking tips on steak went out the window
Looks like a fantastic bit of kit

Cant fix stupid.
Taste is blah. Why not just cook the meat in the oven?
Why are you spraying Pam spray on a grill? It provides zero benefit.
If your meat is stuck to the grill grates, it’s not ready to turn yet….
fantastic edition. Averagetechdude~ )
Glad you liked it😊
