My fan runs from the time I turn it on til I shut it off. The bottom gets wicked hot from the fan running.
So does mine for the most part. Sometimes it's quiet for a minute or 2 but then that loud fan kicks in 100 miles an hour!
Mate its a good tutorial but you seriously need to cut straight to the point, too much talking not enough showing.
at 6:02 you say if we want the program it's in the link below. I have done everything up to that point and my fan still runs
Really nice, almost 2:00 am, and suddenly this rap shit starts blasting at the beginning of the video ! Really ? That shit is ANNOYING !!! I seriously doubt my neighbors appreciated it either.
Hell to pay tomorrow !
😁😁😂
Open Hardware Monitor program- "if you want this (06:02) program linked in the description (06:03) comment down below we're going to run it (06:05) open hardware monitor and what this does (06:16) is it tells you the core temperatures of (06:18) your PC" - like other people have asked about this program, I do not see a link to the Open Hardware Monitor Program that is supposed to be linked below in the description as stated in the video.
I have a HP Pavilion Laptop that has this same issue, fan running constantly and deafening. I have changed the BIOS previously with no success, it continues to run constantly whether the Fan Always On is set to Disabled or Enabled in the BIOS. My Laptop also has the HP CoolSense option which is useless as well. I have tried to use it and again, it does not matter if it is on or off...the fan WILL NOT STOP RUNNING AND IT'S DRIVING ME MAD.
Please let me know about the Open Hardware Monitor Program you spoke about in the video and if you have any other ideas regarding the fan other than pitching the laptop out the window although I'm sure the fan would be the only thing that would NOT break and continue to run. :) Thanks.
A little late but try the Speedfan app.
The fan drains my battery. It dies in about 2 hours and my laptop is only 2 years old
Why does it default to run nonstop when that is what overheats it?
I shut my pc down and unplugged. Pulled side panel and was loaded with dust. Vac inside the case being careful not to touch anything on the mother board. also, pulled fans and was loaded with dust. I separated the fan from the processor and was plugged with dust. after I gave a thorough cleaning, wiping down fins on fans which causes resistance. I put back together and wahla is quiet just like was new. Its speed picked up also which tells me its not software or hardware issues. this will help the processor run cooler which allows the motherboard to process information quickly.
Omg it actually worked but will the fan turn on when it gets too hot
Yes it worked for me this way. All the turning off the fan did, was when it was not under load and cold enough anyways, not needing the fan it would not be on
hp envy with amd ryzen 5 2500u been wondering if i should exchange for a fan always on - its not always loud - it goes from quiet to medium, but on all the time. if thats not normal i have time to exchange it.
i couldn't find this setting fan always on
i have lenovo ipead 320 and in bios i dont have this option..
Hi. I have Sony laptop. The fan starts from the beginning... never stops. Shouldn’t it start and stop. And the laptop has gone slow as well.... before it was really fast... it has 4 gb video card nvidia and 8 gb memory.... but it works like pentium 3 .... any advise how to start troubleshooting?????
+Brave Tiger I would not know
Had the same problem with my VAIO. Pulled the heat sink and replaced the thermal gel. Went with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, highly recommended to me. worked great. fan now runs how it was designed.
Jesus, 5 minutes in and he still hasn't gotten to anything relevant....
when I plug in switch fan start running and computer not turn on
So much usles talking..
Omg I know right
I have a Toshiba think center and my fan always runs on maximum. Sometimes it won't even boot up. The fan will start and the after a few seconds the system shuts off. I can get it to turn on by disconnecting the fan and letting it boot up. I've got some thermal paste, because the paste that was on there was completely dry. Does anyone have any solutions?
what can i do when i can't find this option fan always on??
Then your laptop doesn't have the option in BIOS and it's probably in a system app built by the laptop manufacturer
@@AsherTech it's a pc
too wordy, thumb down!
Which button did your press to get into bios?
I pressed ESC key but it depends on the bios. When you load in, the bios splash screen will tell you what to press
Hello there my fan keeps running when it is off it is a windows 10 I see a comment with someone else like this will this video when I do the steps make it turn off since it is annoying me when I sleep.
Then that means it's not off
at 2:44, you press what? I can't make a word from the sound you make there..
Ygg Drassil I iterated about 10 seconds later. It's whatever button you press to get into bios
Where is the link for the app?
There is no app. It's all in the bios
Where is the download link for the software?
its not a software. its part of the bios when you turn on the computer
My computer isn’t hot at all but since I moved it the fan is running non stop as soon as I turn it on
+MICHA3L PL4YZ it could be a setting and it also could be dust. Honestly u need to open it up and see what is wrong
Asher Tech it’s not dust because it was only a 4 hour drive and it was wrapped in a blanket it didn’t do this 4 hours ago and I went into the bios area but there is no such area there is no place that says that you can turn the fan off
+MICHA3L PL4YZ then I don't know. Something on the computer could also be making the fan run
Is he suggesting that his CPU runs cooler when he sets it to C? hahaee!
I didn’t. Lol I’m just saying that when I turned the fan to not run all the time it was quieter
