Disney's Hercules is based on the animated movie of the same name. You take control of Hercules of Greek mythology, son of the god Zeus and a mortal woman, the legendary hero and strongest man in the world. Your goal is to prove yourself worthy of being admitted to Mount Olympus, the residence of gods, and to become a god yourself. You must commit heroic deeds and overcome various obstacles to show your strength and courage. To make this even more difficult, Hades, the overlord of the dead, is sending fearsome Titans to stop you.
The author, Hoandjzj (tasvideos.org/..., uses precision and a few tricks to beat this game in just under 34 minutes.

Not a bad run, not exactly what I had in mind but not bad.
Yeah wtf was that? No glitches, no exploits. Just playing the game normally. Why even make a TAS if you're not going to try to get the fastest time possible?
It might be just me, but I don't think Hercules has much exploits or bugs in first place

I think the runner likes Hercules because he collects all the letters in one autoscroller and "R U L E S" in another suggesting "Hercules Rules"

Played this on PC as a kid growing up. It was super fun and the graphics were nice for the time, actually a good “movie” game surprisingly.
I couldn't get past Titan Flight on PC because I kept messing up the weapons. Now I realize that probably my keyboard couldn't handle more than a couple keys pressed at once.
Sweet, this is the one with Herculad!
This game is a hidden gem, it's really good.
The sprite work in this game is really good.

me too, i was playing it when i was 3 until 9, and my mom used to help me at the centaut thing, i loved it
I played this game as a child, and was never able to make it past the third level lol. Watching this makes me want to go download an emulator and play it again.

I just got that game as a PlayStation ROM for my ePSXe emulator. I can't wait to try it out one of these days. :)
Please, suggestion: Put in the title if it's "Any%" or if it's "100%" run
"Any%" goes without saying, but the other stuff like "100%" or "best ending" or "warp end glitch" are specifically mentioned.

I remember back in 1992 when I ran a speed run of this at Twin Galaxies. Scored a 32.00 flat on real hardware.
For a game released in 1997... and you would be faster than a TAS... sure sure 🧐

I've never seen this game before... With how it's made, it looks like a low quality Unity game so tbh, it's very possible someone can remake it.
Too bad Disney might be really quick to hand out a "C&D" if they aren't the ones to do it.
...I don't think you understand how much work went into a PS1 game at the time. There was no such thing as universal game engines.
@@MoisesCharles i do given how some big titles like final fantasy 7 were...
but to be fair, square did try to squeeze the most out of their systems in the graphics front
also, all PS games were less than 1 GB per disk and recent games can take up to a few hundred GB so.... yeah. Just the RPG maker games I see at times would warrant a few PS1 disks each
