I can hardly find any information in one place on how to do it. If someone knows, they don't seem to want to share. I think a tutorial on this topic would get a lot of views, as I've seen many questions on forums without answers. Of course, I could pay someone to do it, but for me, it's a lot of fun to tackle such projects on my own. You mentioned under my comment that it's not possible to change pre-LCI USA to LCI ECE taillights - such information is invaluable. I would have wasted money and time trying to do it. Thanks again!
Thank you for yet another lesson. I think it will be interesting to do an episode with used engine ecu swap (or bdc, fem, cas or any other ecu that is part of immo system). It is well known that you need to virginize the ecu first, then program and code the ecu. I already see the part 5 from E-sys for dummies, but that ecu is not part of immo system. Top video again. I already managed to retrofit a RVC on my F20. I also manages to retrofit a high beam assistant on my G30, which doesn't have a KAFAS camera. Your videos helped me to understand better the wiring diagrams, comunications and coding better.
It would also nice if there would be a own video about the most common failures by flashing and how to recover it. How to fix broken ECU update or bricked ECU at all.
Flashing zgw is recommended over the icom But making a video how to do that via enet is not bad idea at all. I guess it is common problem for a lot of people.

No straight forward. But make calculations for first F series. ECU names will be different, but 90% of the functions will be the same and you can get better understanding

However, after coding, the new Typschlüssel was saved to the car, which caused some issues when I tried to read the vehicle using ISTA. I was able to resolve the problem by rolling back: I reverted the Typschlüssel to TA63 and coded a random ECU, which restored the car's original FA. My question is: How can I code a specific module without saving the modified FA to the car? (I am currently using pure E-Sys 3.36.2 without a launcher.)
Hi, is there a way I can disable or remove self leveling option for my F11. I have converted rear end to rigid coil springs and now suspension fault keeps coming up soon as load more weight into a car. If there is a way to do it, it be very helpfull to get some guidance how to do it Thank you
Hi, it’s a good question. Problem is that all F11 do have rear air suspension so it might be hard to remove that. If you find correct FDL parameters then it might be doable.

If icm shows them it means it is looking for them. So you need to modify FA and then code ICM and maybe couple more ECUs. Then no errors will be present.
You will find an answer in my next esys for dummies. But at the moment you just have to estimate what will be easier. VO code and restore codings or add needed parameters via FDL directly.

Абсолютно без исключения каждый раз есть такой вопрос))) Ответ: дело в настройках ютуба на вашем аккаунте. Если вы предпочитаете русскоязычные ресурсы, то ютуб и будет предлагать название видео на русском. В будущем когда ютуб будет поддерживать несколько аудио дорожек то и дорожку будет автоматом предлагать на русском. Вот по этому название пишется на русском. (Так же как и описание видео) Поменяйте настройки ютуба и увидите все язык по умолчанию в моих видео английский (и название видео в том числе)

Звук писался с петлички но были проблемы с уровнем звука. Вытянул от туда максимум ((( След видос с таким же косяком будет. (Уже отснят) А вот на будущее уже поменял параметры.
Здравствуйте дорогие друзья дорогие БМВ-эшники , у меня такой вопрос ; на моторе N20B20a (f10 528i) на холостых (в режиме паркинга) оборотах на глазах увеличивается расход топлива типа 15л/100км через 10 секунд 15.1л/100км через 10 минут дошло до 22,9л/100км я о'уел ваще но при езде плавно уменьшается этот расход , а так раньше было 15,5 или 15л было в городском цикле , вчем может быть проблема ? машина едет ровно обороты тоже в норме
Это связано с методом расчета расхода. Когда стоите на месте и если недавно скинули расход то так и будет. Не обнуляйте его и тогда простои не будут так сильно бросаться в глаза.

Atleast I haven’t succeeded in that. I’m not telling it’s totally impossible. But not straight forward for sure!

New ECU does not have any ISN written and it will be taken from the car. So it’s very straight forward.
Used ECUs are way another thing.

Answer is easy. See esys for dummies manual part 1 and apply setting to esys as suggested over there.
