Went to see Kathie years ago on Live. Regis was not there that day, and Kathie Lee was hosting with Howie Mandel. I have to say, Kathie could not have been kinder or more gracious towards those of us in the audience, particularly during commercial breaks when the camera was off. She was the friendliest and the best, and I never forgot it. A very genuine person. My friend and I also attended The Rosie O’Donnell show that day, and let’s just say the experience was NOT the same. Thumbs up for Kathie. I wish her happiness.

I’ve learned something about Kathie Lee in this interview. By leaving the Today Show was a stepping stone for Kathie Lee to go & write more beautiful incredible inspirational movies. To live in Tennessee. I have always known Kathie Lee loved God but you can truly feel how much she likes living it now by living in Tennessee & truly loving writing her books & movies. I am so happy for her.

We love Nashville. Leaving lived in a suburb of Nashville for 3 yrs, it is one of the nicest, cool place to live. We now live in Italy and tell people that if they go to the States, please go to Nashville instead of NYC or Miami.

Umm, I’m from Nashville - we’ve had sky scrapers for many, many years and certainly prior to the 70’s. It has never been a “small country town.” If you’re going to speak about it, get it right. ✔️ 🙄
Sloan_005 she means compared to a big city, like NYC. I’ve been here since 84 and I remember when the L and C tower was the only tall, sky scraper in the city, it’s where we went to watch the fireworks, from the top of the tower. I drive downtown every day and trust me, it was a small city skyline before. We look like Atlanta now. The traffic is insane now. Not what we used to be.
Kim Rene’ 🤣 I was born and raised in Nashville / Davidson County. My grandmother was Emma Davidson as in Davidson County. The Sloan Bldg, the Sloan Mansion, Sloan Rd....my family thus my name. Don’t have enough time/space to give you a history lesson. My office - 25th floor of Financial Center at 5th & Church. I know when the sky scrapers we’re built and more because my family owned the properties from 5th to 1st Ave and in the Gulch; passed down to many heirs including myself. Since you aren’t a native, a book on local history would prove helpful. I know what I speak of, and understand what was said on this video. She made descriptive statements, not comparisons. I’ve traveled the globe, Nashville is a “major” city and hasn’t been a “farm town” since the 30’s. ✔️

Sloan_005 you are either adding too much emphasis on my observational statement about being here since 84, or not enough, I can’t tell which. my spouse has been here since he was born in 1962, his family has tons of old downtown photos from the 60s-80s. It’s just my perspective, having lived here all that time, and I never said Nashville was a farm town, but that the outskirts still are. I’m happy you are knowledgeable about Nashville and your family history sounds interesting but, seriously, do you always pull that kind of “I know better than you do” crap just because someone else gives their own perspective of living here and seeing it change?
