BIZZARRINI'S A3C - RENAISSANCE OF A RACE CAR
The A3C is the mother of the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada. Created to compete in races, the project was soon abandoned by Iso Rivolta to concentrate on luxury vehicles for the road. Bizzarrini, instead, decide to start his own firm and keep producing the car, changing its name to the one we know today.
Although only 2 original vehicles still exist, Iso Restoration was granted a license to produce 10 more A3Cs with the spare parts that were left in Iso Rivolta’s warehouse.

Beautifully filmed
I came here via my childhood obsession with the Miura, then via Harry Metcalfe to the Bizzarrini V12, and via Bertone and Giugiaro and via the FIAT Dino Coupe and the Iso Grifo, and then I discovered that Giorgio Bizzarrini had designed entire cars like the Strada. And here I am at nearly 60 years old discovering something completely new to me.

Ammirazione e stima per la vostra opera di restauro e conservazione storica di un marchio di cui l'Italia dovrebbe essere orgogliosa.
La "5300 strada" era il mio sogno da ragazzo e nonostante da adulto sia riuscito a regalarmi diverse prestigiose gt il sogno ancora continua e purtroppo tale rimarrà.
Molto interessante la differenza di guidabilità fra A3C e 5300 Strada:cambia forse anche la disposizione del motore con conseguente diverso bilanciamento dei pesi ? Forse le soluzioni di Bizzarrini per la Strada erano anche legate a una riduzione dei costi di produzione ?

Anyone who wants to see a 1970s inspirational version of the Iso A3/C and Bizz Strada should Google the Australian Bolwell Nagari, of which 115 were produced with 5.0 or 5.8 Ford V8..

I think the car looks nice, obviously a lot of work... but the pretension that the car "must be put together as it was conceived" only to lower it and install air conditioning is just obnoxious.
