how do you make music play in the background tho?
you could use source live audio mixer (SLAM) there's a bunch of tutorials on how to do it. my method is harder because i'm using FL studio and my audio output on FL studio is set to a virtual audio cable and that output is also my input on my windows settings, which players whatever's loaded in FL studio right into my mic. then voice_loopback 1 so that i can hear my own audio
@@saratoga. by FL you mean fruity loops? So if I get this straight, you don't even hear the music playing on your pc, only when you're using chat? Sorry I'm too dumb for this stuff. Any tutorial for complete noobsack?
@@user-qf8zq5hy6d dont worry bro it is confusing and took me a while to setup. FL is fruity loops- and yes i only hear my voice and music when i push to talk in game. i never used a tutorial but hopefully these steps help you
1. get a DAW - i use FL studio but audacity is free and is almost as good for this.
2. download voicemeeter (the virtual cable)
3. in your DAW's audio settings, select voicemeeter VAIO as your OUTPUT
4. in your windows settings, select voicemeeter VAIO as your INPUT
