The man who jumped out of the train at 2:55 is the real superhero. He not only survived the jump from a moving train at about 100kmph, he also was ready to get up and stand.
This scene still holds up insanely well. Both in entertainment and VFX construction. There’s very few faults. Excellent Combination of practical and VFX work. This is how it’s done👏

I am one of Shahrukh's most biggest fans. And no matter how many times I seen this train scene. From the dvd I have of this movie. I still can not get enough of it. Only King Khan could have done a movie scene this amazing.
With a budget of ₹130 crores, this film provided us with some damn amazing VFX that too 11 years ago. I just love this scene from the movie and never tire of watching it. An iconic scene from the film indeed. SRK was the perfect choice for this film and I hope we get to see a sequel for it as well.
We are Indians,we fall in love and go gaga when Hollywood creates such scenes, but suddenly try to find logic and start making fun of when Bollywood tries so, sad truth-believe it or not guys.
Most Hollywood movies still follow logic if there is any special ability to a character. While in this movie they defy their own logic setup by the storyline.

If he didn't, he would be staying at the same relative position to the train Or might even fall backwards until the train runs out fully.Ither than that, his jumps had the maxt duration of 2 seconds. So he was reaching an acceleration of over >100 kmph in a mere 2 seconds.
