Welcome to Pibby Corrupted!
This mod has been in this making for well over 2-3 year's at this point, and this is the new version 1.5 which is being released while we continue to work on the full v2, you can still play the old version if you like (what's wrong with you?).
In version 1.5 we are adding new content such as:

3.New and fun charting
4.Awesome visuals and way more
Use [Spacebar] to shoot your gun (recommended for average players, no need to use it if you are an expert)

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets. Download the game files here.

This implies the og bf was corrupted in this universe, and the bf we play as is from another dimension.
No im p sure the corrupted one is the one from a different universe and since bf is not so aware of anything dangerous (this is canon lol) he tried battling the corruption, and lost, so the one with the bandaids and all that stuff is the og one trying to fight the darkness
Also the corrupted one sounds more of a child, and in the actual game, boyfriend is 19, and sounds like he always does, so its obvious that the corrupted one is the one thats from a different universe

Technically, they are two different people… the corrupted one is the Original BF, and Pibby BF is fighting OG BF
the lore of this is that this is another BF from another universe fighting off the glitch but failed and then survivor bf came to the real fnf and then found him and the darkness sent him because they thought it was a good matchup

They're both from the base game, just different events & circumstances occured for whatever reason.
