Traci Michaelz and ALL of the Peppermint Creeps have shared some good times with me. You are keepin' it real, fellas. R.I.P., Traci. If you only knew that when you are hanging out with someone, it will be the LAST time you hang out with that particular someone, you would make it count to the fullest extent. As a tribute to the life of Traci, from now on, soak in EVERY moment with EVERY nice person that you come in contact with, as if it were your LAST encounter. It's the BEST we can do.

Great remake/cover of the Vapors Classic! DAMN i'm glad i came of age in the 80's
I knew Traci since 1993 from a FM Station Heart Throb Mob show. He was one of the few glammy dudes who was a truly great musician. Most of all he was a very positive fun and COLORFUL friend. He is missed. My band (Alice in Smack) played dedicated Nutshell to him the night after at our show. RIP Traci..you really made your mark on this crazy world!!
I remember them playing this live. I was fortunate enough to get to open for them 2 summers ago when they were on tour.
To PC, your family and fans.... My heart felt condolences.. In your own hearts you know how great this man was to you, his music & talents and friendship...And thats what counts... There is a saying...
A man is not dead until he is forgotten...

It's not supposed to. Covers are supposed to be different. They took out the cheesy 80s sound. It's better this way, imho...that cheesy 80s electronic sound only goes so far with me until I have to change to something else lol
I grew up listening to the original, and today clicked on the Vapors, it was cheesy,slow and crap definition, but in my head it has always sounded just like the PC's cover.

i like how you sped up the tempo of the song but the lead vocals dont really fit the song itself but the lead guitar was awesome
I tried to play the 2 videos next to each other but the tempo is different. There's a lot of similar shots, especially with the camera, sword and sofa.

I think they already turned japanese xD they seem to be heavily influenced by Visual-kei in general and in the video the drummer mimics tipical Visual-kei artists, he looks like an ex VK band called Kagrra.

Well, it adds a late 80s look an early 80s song. Lead singer reminds me of Spike from Degrassi junior high. All they really did was increase the tempo a little and make a video that doesn't fit, other than that it's more of a homage to the Vapors' original track.
