      Haven’t had a single issue out of it.

    I've heard that having it wired directly to the battery can run the battery down if it's running a lot after you shut off the bike. Have you had that issue?

    • @2WR
      @2WR 2 года назад

      Didn't have any issue with it. My FE350 has one on it stock from the factory; no issue there either. That said, it _could_ run the battery down if it's running a lot and you're stopping a lot.

    When you shut bike off the fan will continue to run a few minutes until temp drops down. I've seen this kill battery. If you dont have backup kickstarter like my 450xcf, wire it to a on off switch like I did. When bike is off I shut fan off

      @@grapeytv7029 no I bought a handle bar switch for like a headlight. I wired that between tge battery and the fan so I can manually shut the fan off when I want

    That temp gauge shows temperature without power cable connected? It has got any internal battery? How long it will run?

    • @2WR

      Good question and I'm not sure. I sold that bike a few months ago. My new one came with a fan from the factory but no external temp gage. I would guess it's something like a watch battery.

    Is the fan really loud? By exemple when you shut the bike off, does it continue spinning ? (My friend got a 350xcf-w (fan stock) and dont hear it at all)

    • @2WR
      @2WR 4 года назад

      Michael, it will continue spinning until the temperature is brought back down. It doesn't make much noise.

    Where'd you get the handle on the side plate? Just got a 250xcf, was disappointed to find nowhere to lift

    Great video! but man that fan kit(55635941044) is driving me insane and keeps blowing the 7.5 amp(32v) fuse. checked everything with a multimeter, and I'm assuming because the fan is an electric motor, while testing it with a multimeter in continuity mode its normal to show a closed circuit only because how electric motors are wired internally and have some experience messin' around with drones other electronics, so this seemed normal to me... I tested my original fan with the same result(closed circuit beep) which was working fine when i removed it , so figured i'd just buy another fan kit(55635941044) to make sure something isn't faulty in the wiring which is possible. the auxiliary harness( 77711979000) doesn't pop the fuse until i plug the fan in, so just going through some elimination...... thought the power might be surging and blowing the fuse when i plugged it in so i even purchased the pull switch, even though to me that's the same thing as plugging the thing in without it..... we'll see if it was the fan in a couple days. just thought i'd throw this out there and hope somebody else might have some input. 2019 KTM 450 EXC-f, Vortex ECU, KTM and Husky Power Cap, Reed Mod, removed emissions.... just wanna twist some throttle damnit! 12v is 12v, shouldn't matter what model it is.... but that kit is listed(finally) on KTM powerparts

      My guess is it was just the fan kit you got but keep us posted.
