Honestly i hope the 'lipsync assassins' are getting paid for coming on the show, there's so much work and money put into these appearances! I knew Trinity would win until Laganja showed up, truly such a talented performer.
They definitely get paid (at the minimum) of what is in their contract from when they compete which is around $500 I believe per appearance (per episode.) They might get more, but as per their contract, they can be asked to come back at any time for a certain number of years after their season and that probably is renewed if they go on all stars (and compete.) But the appearance itself is probably worth more for the exposure than the actual dollar amount paid etc. since more venues will want to book her and she can raise her booking prices etc.

I was COMPLETELY GAGGED when she was revealed as the assassin. I never thought in a million years she would ever appear on the show again. I love the older seasons of Drag race the best and they are the seasons I've re-watched many times so it made me smile seeing her back and actually happy and honored to be there. Good job :)

I just wanted to say that I had the honor of meeting Laganja at a meet & greet in El Paso 3 or 4 years ago and she was gorgeous, inside and out, she was super kind to me and a beautiful person 😭❤️ I know that meeting a Queen at a meet & greet doesn’t determine if they’re good people or not, because sometimes they’re just tired and not their best selves at the moment, but she was and I felt so lucky to meet her 😭❤️ she is the first Queen I have ever met in person and I was in heaven! She performed the best show I have ever attended, I’m so thankful for your existence, Laganja, you are pure joy and life ❤️

Max I haven't seen the show yet in Canada it won't be for 6 hours. Where do you live that you get it so early. Just curious. I've loved watching this but I was a little bit disappointed that I didn't get to be completely surprised. And her entrance has already been posted. Probably the smartest thing to do is stay off social media the day of. Now I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself for the rest of the day. LOL
@@dixierae6063 my advice is to stay off of social media at least the day before and the day of the episode coming out. I do follow a lot of queens, but I don't look at their socials/comments that much, so luckily I never get spoiled. (I got Paramount Plus to watch it, idk if it comes out the same time as when it airs on TV though.)

But that’s not the point of a lip-sync assassin though, they don’t have to win a lip sync on the show to be lip sync assassins. You have to see them in clubs, they’re so good. Like Gia Gunn never won a lip sync but she can still come back as one bc i have seen her in clubs, it’s jaw dropping!

AGGGHHH girl I am rewatching AS6 and I got to the episode with your lipsync, so I had to come back and watch this again. The lipsync is probably my favorite drag race moment ever and I’m so sappy but this video makes me cry to see how much work everyone put into this. I wasn’t such a fan of how Laganja was portrayed on her season but I appreciated her talent. Seeing her come back on AS6, even just as a guest performer, really showed us how much growth she went through. She looked amazing, her skin was shining and that performance was one for the books! ❤️ And to have her lipsync against TKB, her sister from season 6, makes it more special. I re-watched the “trying on of the wigs” 3 times because the absolute MAGIC of the moment the 3rd one goes on. They are all gorgeous but it just completed/complimented the outfit. I was COMPLETELY GAGGED when she was revealed as the assassin. I never thought in a million years she would ever appear on the show again. I love the older seasons of Drag race the best and they are the seasons I've re-watched many times so it made me smile seeing her back and actually happy and honored to be there. Good job :)

I just wanted to say that I had the honor of meeting Laganja at a meet & greet in El Paso 3 or 4 years ago and she was gorgeous, inside and out, she was super kind to me and a beautiful person 😭❤️ I know that meeting a Queen at a meet & greet doesn’t determine if they’re good people or not, because sometimes they’re just tired and not their best selves at the moment, but she was and I felt so lucky to meet her 😭❤️ she is the first Queen I have ever met in person and I was in heaven! She performed the best show I have ever attended, I’m so thankful for your existence, Laganja, you are pure joy and life ❤️

Max I haven't seen the show yet in Canada it won't be for 6 hours. Where do you live that you get it so early. Just curious. I've loved watching this but I was a little bit disappointed that I didn't get to be completely surprised. And her entrance has already been posted. Probably the smartest thing to do is stay off social media the day of. Now I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself for the rest of the day. LOL
@@dixierae6063 my advice is to stay off of social media at least the day before and the day of the episode coming out. I do follow a lot of queens, but I don't look at their socials/comments that much, so luckily I never get spoiled. (I got Paramount Plus to watch it, idk if it comes out the same time as when it airs on TV though.)

When I first heard Laganja was the lip sync assassin, I was a little confused since she only won one lip sync, but after that performance I think it’s safe to deem her one
But that’s not the point of a lip-sync assassin though, they don’t have to win a lip sync on the show to be lip sync assassins. You have to see them in clubs, they’re so good. Like Gia Gunn never won a lip sync but she can still come back as one bc i have seen her in clubs, it’s jaw dropping!

Seeing her come back on AS6, even just as a guest performer, really showed us how much growth she went through. She looked amazing, her skin was shining and that performance was one for the books! ❤️ And to have her lipsync against TKB, her sister from season 6, makes it more special. I re-watched the “trying on of the wigs” 3 times because the absolute MAGIC of the moment the 3rd one goes on. They are all gorgeous but it just completed/complimented the outfit. I gasped, and the energy changed. I’m so glad to share this moment to highlight all the work that goes into the details. I love to be able to appreciate the creators. It takes a village, well said.
