Exploring Boyacá Colombia from a Taxi - Gringo Colombia Travel 2021

Travel with Curious Perro as we take a great trip through the beautiful landscapes of the department of Boyacá. The tour begins just outside the town of Garagoa. From the road we see the Macheta river, the Chivor dam and a cute tunnel in the Las Juntas area. We complete our journey in the town of Guateque.
The Boyacá department is significant in the history of Colombia. Known as "The Land Of Freedom" due to the many war victories that help lead to the Independence of Gran Colombia. And as the center to the worldwide emerald mining and trade.
