Hey mate, thanks. It's a 'Nemo ultralight sleeping mat' I got from Paddy Pallin that I've cut into smaller pieces ("seat & table"). Excellent added insulation/comfort for under my sleeping mattress at nights.
Good watch mate, you spent some time getting those camera angles ! Pity about missing the shot, Maybe look into a set of shooting sticks to steady your aim on those cross gully shots.
Thanks mate, and I appreciate the tip! I would have normally setup the shot resting the rifle on my pack, but felt rushed (unnecessarily) and went with it resting on my knees.
Good video, good documenting anddd great to be out doors. fix that title up , "i found one", no one likes a miss.... shit happens ! always next hunt! beautiful sparse country you're in, loved the rock features! warm barrels!
Cheers mate.... I'll try show and explain more regarding gear next time I head out, which should be very soon (C19 lockdown is looking like ending here in Victoria). Good luck on your journey into pack hunting.
Thanks... The rifle is a Tikka T3x (Australian special edition - it's a normal T3x with a couple little extras). Calibre is 30.06 (Remington Core-Lokt 180 grain).
It's always an adventure no matter the result. Thanks for sharing mate.
Absolutely!
Good vid mate. This shows what hunting is actually like and we dont always get an animal on the ground. I subbed and am keen to see more. Cheers
Thanks mate! Definitely not an easy endeavor.
Excellent vid mate! Question what is that called your holding in your hands at 7.21? And where do you get it from cheers

Great vid. Hard to tell where you are but my guess is east of the divide south west of Licola. Ambitious shot!
Thank you... Yep, great guess ;)
Great video mate, would love to see what gear you take out, I’m just starting to get into pack hunting myself.
